Welcome everybody, to the Women's 's Career Mastery Podcast we have another exciting episode this time it's and i talking to you about the launch of our new program very exciting right Christine.

Yes, definitely

Wanted to do this episode specifically so you can get to know some of the details about it, so we can announce it to you and you can understand why we did it.

Yes, so now this is, this is a very interesting because we've been basically thinking about this for a long time. Laura and I has been working together for about almost two years now.

We’ve been coaching women through career transitions. We went through our own career transitions. The challenges that women face have not really changed. Like, there's still the same kind of challenges and there's still limited support and so. That's why we're creating this program, because we know that when women work together to support each other, they really are unstoppable.

So this is a six month program. It's like an intensive. There's twelve people that form a bond work together over the six months through group coaching sessions, through individual coaching sessions. Everybody gets two over the six month period. You get online, self-paced paced learning you get practical examples or journal to work through a twenty four seven online community where you can have chats And find resources, get answers to questions. It's a very, very rich program. Where everybody's working together to get through the challenges or UM, work towards achieving their career goals. Living into their ambitions and aspirations. And so we've seen that the struggles that women have come through and we know that they need support. And so that's why we're here. That's why we created this program.

Laura and I have been contemplating and reflecting on journey in our careers.

Laura you want to tell the story of when you are in the career.

From time where you have the most challenge in your career. And looking back. What would you wish? What would you wish to have? Or what could be different?

What would I wish for? Well, it's. And everybody needs to know. I didn't know Christine was going to ask me that question, so I have to think about it.

What would I wish for looking back now, my career, and I'm sure it's the similar for other people's careers. And by the way, I'm not done with my career. I'm still. Having a career and loving it. It's um. The moments where I the comparison between where I had support and I didn't have support. So I worked in large corporation in I had fabulous leaders who saw a lot of potential in me and really helped me grow into that potential and take on challenging roles in succeed in those roles and get promoted and all of that stuff. But then I had moments in my career that were really, really daunting and you know, I could list. Bunch of them. But layoffs, Um, sexism, right? I'm holding me back or barriers to certain opportunities for development or advancement in. I didn't know how to work through those and there was no support system for those. And looking back, I wish I had a place to go or I wish I had someone that I could trust that I could talk to about that to overcome those challenges. So I think for me, that's how I'm answering your question, Christine.

The reason why I ask because I also want to share mine and I think it's, it's similar to what you have, There's like leaders that are amazing, that give me opportunities to do the work according to knowing the way I work on my styles. But they're also time where. I was forced into a process or a business unit where. I just don't feel any support at all and in a way it's really hard when you struggle alone where you cannot really speak about. What do you want? Because you've been never asked. And if you ask, seems there's something not right about you. And in those places sometimes it's really important and I feel. A lot of loneliness because I cannot really speak about what I want, what I need. And at the end of the day it's like I get into doubting myself like am I really capable or not? Because I don't know what is, I want, but it's not really clear of what is the next steps for me so. And my purpose now I'm really want to create a space where there is safety. I think safety in the workplace is very important.

Laura, in your career journey when things are challenging, looking back what are the challenges and what you wish? Could be better.

Well, I don't. It's not just even me. I mean, I hear it today. I heard it yesterday on a coaching call. You know, women are not feeling confident. In their either career decisions or the team that they might be working in, they might not feel valued. They don't feel like they belong. There's a lot of doubt, like not a lot of self-confidence confidence in general because there are uncertain about where their job is where they're going where the companies going like they just don't understand and nobody's taking the time to talk with them about it And they have nowhere to go for support and someone to talk to. So they hire a coach and that's where, Christine and I come in and we help them through that. But what if they did have it? What if they did have the support? What if they could feel comfortable and confident talking about what they might see that could work better for an organization or a team? What if they could share their ideas and not be afraid to be, you know, called out or, you know, get in trouble or but put on a layoff list? Like what? What if things could be better for them and they did feel valued? Again, I think they'd be unstoppable, right?

Yeah, and I just also want to put this because I think it's very sad. That sometimes we cannot speak up. At work we cannot really share our aspirations or our challenges, even with our manager, even with people we work with.

Absolutely. Well, this is not just the story of Laura, Christine and how this happened. We have been coaching. Many women and we've been learning what they need and we have found that when you work one-on-one on one with a with a client it works really well but when you work with a community It's even better. It's almost indescribable how a community can come together. I have a mastermind group that meets every week religiously. They meet together with me as a group, but they meet on their own. They connect on their own. They're very supportive. It's an incredible group of women who have become empowered in supporting each other. They don't work for the same companies. They're not even in the same fields, but they've built a bond that really connects them in and makes some, you know, very. Effective in supportive environment for them.

They’re professional, they're smart, they're ambitious and they want to achieve goals and they work together to do it and they overcome challenges like you would not believe. I mean you know this is this is not even a. Statement of you know, just a group of women in New York. This is a group of women coming together globally to work together and combine their resources. Whether they're a network of people or new websites or new applications or new courses that they could take to support each other in what they're trying to do, it all comes out in the group like it all gets shared and there's only appreciation. For all of it, and of that comes intense motivation to want to achieve and accomplish all those goals that they have.

I also want to bring this up. One thing about this program is what we want is it's it's give you a space to pause to redefine what you really want, to really get in touch with your aspiration and to be able to articulate that and not just to articulate that but. Putting up like a strategy and step by steps to achieve that in an environment that is trustworthy, where you can be accountable and you can share your commitment. And you can always go back and find encouragement within the group.

A hundred percent and often times you know i think people might get a little nervous like i'm gonna you know help people get aligned to their purpose and and feel more fulfilled in their career it might mean they have to leave they're company they're working for absolutely not like we are not saying that we are not going down that path in fact i see people leaving their companies when they really don't have to like there are ample opportunities and resources available to help somebody grow in their career Right within the walls of the organization, they're working. It's just that they have this one challenge. They can't get past it. And this is the kind of group that can help you do it.

Laura, would you like to mention also what are what would they get within this program?

Christine, happy to share with you what uh in our listeners, what you get with the program. So there's biweekly coaching sessions, so we all get together and we all work through all of our challenges and ideas together. Also individual coaching sessions. So you might have something you want to discuss separately without the group. We have space for that too. There's self-paced paced learning that you could do on your own but also practical activities that you're going to work through And bring back to the coaching sessions and we're going to watch you grow through that. And then twenty four seven there's an online community that you can post questions share ideas share resources and support each other ongoing an ongoing basis and Christine and in are in that community as well following alongside and jumping in where where we're needed.

We want people to come out of the program feeling confident about the career path that they're on, about the career goals that they've set in, feeling like they're unstoppable. Awesome.

We’re looking for twelve diverse women to sign up and register. If you have any questions, reach out to us.
