On this episode of CEO Amplify, we dive into the topic of becoming the true CEO of your business. As your business grows, you may find yourself becoming the employee or the manager, but it is essential to delegate and let go of certain roles to focus on your responsibilities. What are the roles and responsibilities of the employee, manager and CEO? I encourage you to track your time to determine which of these you are falling into. Do you need to fire yourself from some of these roles by delegating and re-prioritizing tasks? We don't like to relinquish control, but if you show up as the employee or the manager, you will not have time for the visionary CEO work that will move your business into the future.
As the business leader, you must keep in mind the reasons why you started your business. The 3 most common reasons are unlocking income potential, reinvesting into families and communities, and achieving freedom, control, and flexibility. Are you experiencing these? You must start thinking and working like a CEO to achieve your desired results. To shift into the CEO mindset, you must understand the roles within your business, evaluate how time, energy, and attention are spent, and use them with intention.
