Lily: Metaphorically, I'm saying that on purpose so that no one can sue us. Metaphorically, pick up a flamethrower, pick up a hatchet, pick up a machete, and hack unapologetically out anything and anyone that does not serve the future that you are creating.

You don't have time and you get like pouty and it's like no that's not the energy of a badass, that's not the energy of a multi millionaire, they don't pout, they get pissed, and then they get shit done, but they do not pout. You need to celebrate yourself, celebrate every little win, celebrate, and when I say every little win, I do mean every little win.

I'm going to go TMI here because I believe in authenticity. Everyone in my family has tummy troubles. Everyone. I had an amazing bowel movement today and I'm still happy.

Burlingtina: Get ready entrepreneurs because we've got Lily McNamara of Lily of the Light joining us today. This powerhouse entrepreneur has been guiding ambitious folks to manifest their dream lives for over 20 years with their no nonsensical mission.

and style and the success of their Holistic Heroes Monthly Membership, Lilly's here to share their wisdom on what it takes to succeed. Brace yourselves for a mind blowing conversation that'll inspire and

Lily: entertain. I'm elated to be here and to discuss empowering people to do what is best for them. I love being able to tell people like, are you the hero of your own story?

And if not, tell me.

Burlingtina: We all need to have those moments where we put up our sword and shield and we go, I better fight the battles because we don't need to feel like a side character in our own story. We always need to be the lead in our own stories. So starting from the beginning, I like to ask a little question for my guests.

If you could go back in time and tell your younger self one piece of advice about starting a business, what would it be?

Lily: Metaphorically, I'm saying that on purpose so that no one can sue us. Metaphorically. Pick up a flamethrower, pick up a hatchet, pick up a machete, and hack, unapologetically, out anything and anyone that does not serve the future that you are creating.

There is no time for the Oh, but they're so nice! That is fabulous. But are they meant to be If they're not meant to be in your future, they sure as shit should not be in your present. That is the biggest thing. That is a huge lesson that I learned. Because people ask, like, how do you You cut people out so quickly and I'm like, it took a while to get there, but now I'm not, I waste no time.

Like, literally just this week, I've cut three people out of my life. Just this week. You don't have time. You are too fabulous, you do not have time. Don't waste it on people who are undeserving of being a part of your future.

Burlingtina: I totally agree, because like you were saying, if those people don't vibe with the life you're trying to create now, Why in the world would you need them in your future?

Especially there are some people who like to drain your energy. They're like, I want your time. I want your money. I want you. I want everything. And they feel like they're absorbing all of you into them. And it's like, I want my own time. I need to be myself. And so that's a really great point because people need to be able to carve those people out of their lives.

You know, throw them over the bridge, metaphorically, and get rid of them any kind of way they need to. So I totally agree with that. So when people want to start their own business or they want to start with their ambitions, what advice do you think would be crucial to them?

Lily: This is going to be the meanest thing that I say to you, and I'm so sorry, listeners.

You have to start small and learn. It's people who are like, Oh, I want, I want to make my first. It's like, yes, you want to make your first million. You want to serve multimillionaires. You want to have an empire. Absolutely. You can aspire to that and manifest that and attract that. And I have met so many people who are like, but I want, I want to be where you are.

To be clear. I've been seeing clients for 20 years, two decades. You want to get to where I am? Two decades is the timeframe. And the first seven of those years, I worked seven days a week, unless I was like having surgery or incredibly sick. I took no vacations. I worked constantly and I would not give that up.

I built a solid foundation to now be one of the best psychic spiritual advisors in the country. And so I have no regrets. When you first start, you have to come from a place of first starting and learning, because quite frankly, I cringe at who I was When I first started seeing clients and how I bumbled through my intros, I cringe even eight years ago when I first started my LLC and not being able to command a room.

And it's like, but I deserve better. And it's like, I could not stand up for myself at that point. So no, you're not going to get it. Learn all the lessons, take in all the wisdom, and pace yourself. Do not jump in thinking that the first million is just around the corner. It's not. And that it's so hard for people to hear, because everyone wants it to come, and you deserve it, and you'll attract it.

Eventually. But do not think that it's coming tomorrow. The lesson's coming tomorrow, and it's gonna hurt when it kicks you in the ass.

Burlingtina: Exactly, exactly. Very good point. Even in my industry with marketing, a lot of people are like, I want this one ad to make me a billion dollars. I'm like, you're not Nike.

You don't have Nike's ad budget. We can make something, but you don't have Nike's money. So we can't make the billion unless you invest the million.

Lily: Yes. Oh my gosh. That is, I always tell people there is no magic bullet. There is no one step that changes everything that is not realistic. I always tell people it is a thousand tiny steps to get you one step closer.

And then it's another thousand tiny steps to get you another step closer. And that's just the way it is. I had a colleague three or four years ago, who was just like, All's I have to do is be discovered, and then I will be flown around on private jets if I just had a celebrity endorse what I do. She was so niche, it's like, no, no celebrity is gonna endorse you and then like buy you a private plane to fly around and speak around the world.

No, and it was, and she wants, she's like, but I've been working so hard for so many years, and I'm like, not to be a bitch, but aim lower. Okay, so, me personally. Jet is not on my list. Is it, is it on yours? Let's be honest. Is it on yours?

Burlingtina: I'd rather have rides in the jet than it costs too much. Yeah. I'll have a friend

Lily: that's a jet.

Exactly. We'll go on girls trips. It'll be fine. No. So it's just being incredibly ambitious while being realistic. Being unrealistic is something that shoots people in the foot with their progress, because then you get bitter and resentful. Cause I, I know I've done it when I first started, I was like, why am I not moving?

Why? I deserve this. And then you get like pouty. And it's like, no, that's not the energy of a badass. That's not the energy of a multi millionaire. They don't pout. They get pissed. And then they get shit done. But they do not pout. That is not something that they do. And I am the psychic spiritual advisor to several multi million dollar companies a month.

I've never seen any of them get pouty. I've seen them get pissed. And then you step back and it's like, all right, they're going to do stuff now. And I'm just going to stand to the side and then they finish. And it's like, when they're done, they have another like 200, 000 project. And it's like, all right, that is no pouting.

No pouting.

Burlingtina: Yeah, exactly. When I worked as a corporate advisor, I worked in a lot of CEOs, a lot of big brands, big companies. Well known ones, and they would be like, how can we do this multi million dollar project and they're like, we can't figure it out. And yet I look at working with small business owners.

They're like, how can I do this hundred thousand dollar project? I can't figure it out. Sometimes it's the same solution, just the scale is different. And so, like you were saying, every step leads you towards the next step. It's just like this Japanese saying where every stone piled up equals a mountain.

So it's the same kind of feeling when you're working with small businesses and people who are starting entrepreneurs and people who are working on their careers. You have to have realistic goals. Like you said, you might want that jet. You want to be like Ferguson fabulous, but what you need to start with is paying the bills.

Cause if you can pay the bills for you to survive off your business or the career you want, then you already doing something. That's something to be celebrated. And once you reach that threshold, then we can talk about more. Because the first thing you need to reach is what you need, right?

Lily: Yes. Maslow's hierarchy of needs, that pyramid.

It's like, yeah, food, water, shelter, clothing. That's at the bottom. Once you got that, then you can go up. And so I think you'll love this. This was actually said in new Orleans. And it was one of the presenters was talking about money and success. And she said, the next time someone says, I can't afford this, shift it to how can I afford this?

So as you're building it, it's like, well, you can't afford. How can you like, instead of just saying, I can't, I can't afford that ad campaign. How can I afford that ad campaign? That's going to get me to the next level. Go get it. Go get it.

Burlingtina: Yeah. That reminds me of Marie Forleo's book. Everything is figureoutable.

So it was like, yeah, you have a goal. How do we get there? Let's figure it out. Let's make a step by step so we can figure this out. Because. A lot of people have very big goals. Like people say, I want to wear fur coats every day and jewels and diamonds and like, fantastic. How, what skills do you have? What do you need to learn?

What process, you know?

Lily: Oh, yes, it is. It is a beautiful process because if I would have had success five years ago, the way that I do now, I would not be the same person. I would be a garbage person thinking that that's the kind of skill set that you need. You need to keep leveling up. And as you level up, more things happen.

You get to do more. If I were to have, I recently hosted a penthouse party in the French quarter. And I, if I would have done that seven years ago, I would have made a fool of myself. Talking to businesses and being able to network that way. It, I, I probably would have crashed my reputation so hard because I wouldn't have known how to behave.

But it's like that now it's like, Oh yeah, sure. Let's do it. Let's do it on the fly. Yes. Because the hosts got sick and so they couldn't host the party and they're like, you're in town. And I'm like, yes, I am. I am. And I would love to, thank you so much. I brought a gown just in case. Okay. So be realistic. But here's the other thing.

Take. Every, uh, every opportunity, not the ones that are like giant red flags, be, be responsible, but take the opportunities. When someone says something or offer something, say yes. So we were actually on the way that I got onto this fabulous podcast was we were on a zoom call for something totally different.

And you had mentioned, I am starting a new podcast. It's about empowering people. It's about success. It's about only badasses are welcome here. Let's see what kind of magic we can create. And I immediately put in the chat. Let's do it. I'm in. Send me a link. I don't need any more information. Just say yes.

Just an enthusiastic. Yes, I

Burlingtina: totally agree. And I was glad that you jumped on it and a couple other people there too, because just like you took the chance to do it. I took a chance to start it. Because I was looking at, I've had Authority Connected for a while and I've changed the focus because before it was about personal branding, but I was like, you know, you can personal brand all day and night, but if your mindset isn't in it, if you don't feel it, if you're not, the whole person isn't ready.

So that's why I was like, let me make this more about badass entry where we can bring in some people who can help people actually do something and make some progress. Yeah. So that's, that's why I wanted you here.

Lily: Speak the hard truth. I. I am all about like, as long as you're the hero of your own story, I'm okay that I'm your villain.

If I hurt your feelings, but you have a better life. I'm okay with that. I have clients who hate me and are like, I do things despite you. And I'm like, yeah, but your life's better. And they're like, yes. I'm like, perfect. If that's the motivation that you need, not going to lie. Like the revenge body thing.

I'm like, if you, whatever you need to be the best version of yourself, do it. If you want to do it so that that high school bully. That every time you think of them sitting in their mom's basement and you are standing on a stage accepting your next award, then it's just like, ah, yes, this feels right.

Perfect. Perfect. If that is your motivation, I don't care. Like, find the thing that'll get you to do it.

Burlingtina: Exactly. Like they said, the best revenge is a life lived well.

Lily: Yeah. And I mean, I've had personal experiences where I have gotten to bask in that, and it's been Awesome. Like, and it's not petty. It's not mean.

It's just being empowered. It's not about the other person. It's not about any wrongs or any slights towards you. It's about living your best life and you will feel so much better. Living your best life and being the hero of your own story.

Burlingtina: Exactly. You're a hundred percent right. And I can speak from personal experience on that because like a lot of people in my life were like, Oh, she'll never do this.

She'll never do that. And Hey, I was on an even nominated TV show. So I look at, yes, you can do the things you want to do. You can achieve the dreams, but you have to be willing to put in the work and have your mind in the right place. Cause like you were saying, You know, you might want to rise to the top of the mountain, but you have to climb up that mountain.

Lily: Yes. There are several steps before jet. And let me tell you what, they're all fabulous. Cause I don't know about you, but when I look back at my journey, my entrepreneurial success story, I think of those first steps and I'm like, I was so excited and humbled and honored to have those first steps just as I am now.

The steps that I'm taking now, I feel just as humbled and honored to host a penthouse party, to win an entrepreneur docu series. I'm sitting there going, yeah, I'm just as excited. Every step is amazing. So if you're like, I'm not going to be happy until I'm six figures or a millionaire. Oh, bitch, you're missing the point.

You're missing the point. It is so much more than that. You need to celebrate yourself, celebrate every little win, celebrate. When I say every little win, I do mean every little win. I'm going to go TMI here because I believe in authenticity. Everyone in my family has tummy troubles, everyone. I had an amazing bowel movement today and I'm so happy.

Like, that's what I mean. Celebrate everything. Like, just be happy about it and take the challenges as opportunities either to grow or learn or quite frankly, to be spiteful. That is your motivation. I have met plenty of people who it's like, someone told me I couldn't do it. So I decided to go and. Build a multimillion dollar business.

And I'm like, really? That one teacher was mean to you once and you create, I can't imagine what would happen if you were bullied in one person, if you were really bullied, what world peace is what you would have created, I bet. So no, it's. It's a journey. Stop looking at the destination being like, I suck if I'm not there.

I'm fabulous here. I was fabulous five years ago. You're fabulous now. I just met you, you know, over the past few months. And it's like, I know you and you're fabulous. When we start jetting around the world, we're going to be just as fabulous as we are now. Where, I don't see it as, like, you're leveling up your business, but like, you as a human is still awesome just now.

Burlingtina: So I feel the same way about you. I must harness her energy for the sake of my podcast and my listeners. Mwa ha ha ha ha.

Lily: I love it.

Burlingtina: Because I knew you would be a perfect fit.

Lily: Thank you. I know, right? Like, I mentioned, I'm like, before you even spoke, you like, popped on the screen for the like, get to know you Zoom a month or so ago.

And I was like. Bitches my people. I'm like look at the sass and then you're like I own a crown and I'm like me too And I was like, yes, and see I should have brought it in here Because you know once you meet like minded people like magic happens magic happens, oh, I know what I can do Let me take this photo.

Oh, we've got

Burlingtina: evidence. There we go. There we

Lily: go That's gorgeous look at your eyes popping Holy crap. Damn, love it. I love it.

Burlingtina: Thank you. I was the mega virus, the photographer,

Lily: editor. Oh my God, you're just like one size fits all, aren't you? You're like, yeah, I'll do it all.

Burlingtina: Back in the day, I wanted to start my own creative company where I promoted people myself.

So that's why I have like all these random skills. You

Lily: gotta, there is no fault in taking another wrench in the toolbox. Learn as much as you can, because it makes life so much easier to do it that way and to be able to really thrive in that mindset of like, yeah, I'll, cause that's the thing. If something goes wrong, there has to be a plan B and let me be clear, all you wonderful listeners, something will go wrong often, often.

And so you have other contingency plans and you work on the fly and you do things like we had technical issues. We're filming this, um. In the first two days of Mercury Retrograde, and I am very woo as a psychic spiritual advisor. So I'm well aware of those things and it's like, Oh yeah, technology is going to fuck us up the ass.

Fine. But then as we were doing this, you were like, I have three backup plans. Don't you worry. We'll get this done. Just give me one minute and I'll switch it over. And it was, it was like, we'll switch it. We'll switch it. And yup. And, and look at us. We're recording. Nothing stops you. If you have a backup plan, nothing.

Burlingtina: Exactly. Because. If you do not have a backup plan, that's when you have real problems. Something's going to fail. Well, I started this, I tested it. It was Benissimo. It was perfect. And then when we got on, it's like, I hate you. I'm not going to work. Forget you. Bye. I don't, I can't do this. I'm trying to load, but I don't want to load.

So you better find somewhere else to go. And I was like, Oh, really? I have one, two, three cameras, phones, old phones, and I also have tripods and multiple browsers. So, one way or another, you're going to work.

Lily: It's like, you will bend to my will. You may resist, but you will. In personal life, consent is so important.

No means no, period. I want to be very clear about that. In business. A hard no means no, walk away, do not get a restraint, don't have a restraining order put against you. But if it is even remotely a soft no, so I, I run events and retreats and stuff, and I have sponsors for that. And I have had people go, oh no, this, not the right time, not the right fit.

And in my head I'm always like, That's all right. I'll get you. It's just a matter of time. And every single year I go back and ask, and eventually I get them. I got the biggest metaphysical publishing company to be one of my sponsors. And they said no so many times. And I was like, I'll be back next year.

And then I would just walk off and I'm like, I'll get you. I'll get you. So in business, not in your personal life consent, like no means no in your personal life, but in business, a lot of times. The universe, not even the other person, the universe is going, do you really want this? If you really want this, you will show up with three fucking phones and five other browsers and make it happen.

And it'll go fabulously. So remember that as you're building resilience in your business and learning that no is not the end of the world. It's, just keep trying. Keep trying different people, keep trying different approaches, keep trying different traction tactics. Like, there are so many things that can get you to a yes, that you don't know unless you try.

Again, do not harass anybody, but short of harassment and restraining orders. Keep pushing.

Burlingtina: Yes. There's a way too much. I call that massaging. Because of course, you said it personally, like consent is key. We love consent consent and sex and consent is wonderful, but in business life, you can massage the yes.

They might be like, well, no, I'm not interested right now. You're like, okay, well, I know maybe right now is the right time, but let me send you, you know, this. A little bit of info I found that might be interesting to you, you know, that I happen to write for this blog or this guest post I did, or this thing on the podcast, I happen to say, Oh, you know, and I think that's a good thing for you too, and you know, happy birthday.

How are you doing? You know, you could say top of mind, and you could just send them a little something, something, just to massage it, just to massage it. And, you know, I just keep it on a nice, light, pleasant experience, unless they get there and say, how dare you? I'm going to block you. But as long as you don't get that reaction, you can slowly massage that.

Lily: It's all about what, if it was easy, it wouldn't be worth it. And I know that it's so horrible to say as someone who an expert manifesting is that it effortlessly flows to me. It effortlessly flows to me because I did all of the backbreaking work at the front end. And that made it easier. I truly believe that if you put in the effort, the rewards will come.

It's the people who, again, very woo, they're like, I wore the crystals and I said the affirmations and I don't have a better job. Did you apply to any jobs? Do you even have a LinkedIn profile? And they're like, no, the job should come. It's supposed to, I'm supposed to attract it. And I'm like, out of your house, like get on LinkedIn, get, get interviews, get resumes out.

Like. If you do the steps, then the manifesting happens. I am very much not the light and fluffy kind of woo where it's like all I have to do is sit here and love myself. And everything will go my way. Bitch, no it won't. Someone worked harder than you. Step to the side. Success is mine. No. Work hard.

Celebrate every little success that you have.

Burlingtina: Yes, yes, exactly. Because I work with people who are woo as well. I do some social media for them and they're like, oh yeah, you know, I've seen some of them who were like, I know if we make this one ad, this is going to be the ad that brings in all the money.

I'm like, no, we need a plan. We need multiple ads. We need content. We need something for people to see when they come back, you know, if they can learn. About you, because one ad looks kind of sus, so they can have that one ad and, you know, content and a website or something for them to learn about you. And they're like, I don't know if I need all that.

You know, I held my crystals and I drew my cards. I said, but if it gave you something

Lily: good, that means proceed with the plan. Yeah, keep going, keep going. And I am very much the same way. Which. Makes what I do very different than other people who are in woo. I recently talked to a PR company and they said, manifesting is not something that you'll talk about to serious entrepreneurs because it's been debunked.

And I'm like, Fluffy manifesting as Bendy Blanc. Sitting there and hoping Santa shits miracles into your hands as Bendy Blanc. The kind of manifesting that I do is effective and you do get what you want because you're actually putting work into it. And then the magic sprinkled on top just makes it fabulous.

It doesn't do the work for you, it makes it fabulous. There's a difference and who doesn't want to be fabulous?

Burlingtina: Exactly, exactly. You want to be able to carry yourself with that dignity and that fabulousness. That not only did you put it into work, but you put it into work with a little sparkle in it. Yes!

Lily: You want to stand out! Like, I, standing out is so important because there is No matter, and correct me if I'm wrong, because I'm in the woo industry, but you're in like, you help people in many industries. Every industry there is competition. Every industry there is hundreds, if not thousands, if not millions of people.

That whether you're competing against them or not, you are standing next to them and somehow you have to stand out because let me tell you what, I've been at some of these events and just gone, people have asked me, what was your favorite speaker? And I heard 30 speakers in the event. I didn't remember one.

They all blended together. They all wear the same flowy outfit. They all talk about light and love. I was like, Oh, I don't know. The one. Who said something nice. You want, and you're standing out by being your authentic self. For those of you watching and listening, my authentic self is sassy and loud and swears.

That is just the way it is. But if I were to try and be really quiet and demure, it would seem very, very fake. I've had people tell me like, you seem very disingenuous when you're being gentle. Like, note it!

Burlingtina: Yeah, I totally get it. Like I'm a natural showman and dramatic and I have a tend to be a little bit dramatic and cuts me.

It's fun. Like, in my opinion, why should life be dull when you can make it exciting and fabulous darling, and bring a little bit of flair. Cause it's like when I play Baldur's Gate three, looking at that, I'm like, Astarian is my spirit animal. So when I'm doing things that people like you're so out there, you need to be calm.

And I'm like, no, that's not me. I'm more of a, Hey, everybody, welcome so much. It's great to have you here because that's my natural self because I'm naturally a showman and I know that it's not everybody, but whatever your natural self is, that's what people are going to resonate with. Because if you're trying to be what you think people want, they're not going to be attracted to that.

Lily: Exactly. And if you're just trying to go with the industry norm, that is something. Don't copy anybody. Like, take what people do and be inspired to create your own, absolutely, but do not copy anybody. Literally, just before getting on this call, someone sent me an email, and their email signature was almost identical to mine.

So they basically just copied it, and I was like, are you stupid? Like, you sent this to me! Um, and, and that's the thing, like, I lost respect for them. But also it's, it's not authentic. So people aren't going to resonate with it. I have a colleague who is the most soft spoken person I have ever met. And, but she's memorable.

Who is that kind blonde with the really soft voice? That's Nikki. That where I have had people walk up and go, where's the loud one with the hat? That's Lily in a corner. There you go. It's not mimicking other people. It's finding out exactly who you are and that's how you'll stand out. Don't think that being loud makes you stand out because let me tell you, if loud is not your authentic self, you are the most annoying person in the room.

I can guarantee it. If you're authentic self, I have a, one of my family members is a lawyer and he rarely speaks. Because he views people as unworthy of hearing him. It is. He's brilliant. He's creepy smart. And it's the thing that like, I can't remember him ever raising his voice. I do remember every single time he speaks, he is listened to, respected, and usually obeyed.

That's his authentic self. Like, you know, I'll raise my voice to get everyone's attention in the room and he would stand there perfectly still and silent until everyone looked at him. Do it authentically. And it will be effective. If you're not doing it authentically, guess what? Not going to be effective.

And then you just wasted so much time. How much time have people wasted trying to mimic other people or trying to take shortcuts or trying to match the industry norm? Cause that's the thing. Like for my industry, I'm supposed to wear flowy clothes. and have a light sing song voice and be able to tell you that light, love, and manifestation are all that's important.

And isn't that just a load of horseshit? No, I wear hats. I have boobs. I wear Heels, I wear adorable heels when I am out in public, am loud, I am offensive. I also rock cartoon pajamas like nobody's business because I love comfort. So it's about really finding your authentic self and being okay with who that is, no matter what the industry says, with a few exceptions.

Like if you are in a super professional, be professional. So like while I cuss and everything, I look very business. So I can walk into a multimillion dollars. Board meeting and perfectly blend in. And I'll just say fuck every once in a while, where if you walk in in your pajamas and it's like, this is my authentic self.

It's like, if you want to work, who's your ideal client, you got to. You got to attract them. Pajamas don't attract multi millionaires. People are like, yeah, but when they make that much money, they don't care. Yes, they do. Yes, they do. They made multi millions. They can show up in pajamas. You can't. I will show up not super professional with my clients.

And that's just my authentic self and what I'm comfortable with. They always say, Oh my God, wear whatever you want. And I'm like, I am.

Burlingtina: Exactly. Because that's what I often tell people that When you, you have to externally fit the environment because of those people in speaking. And so like one of my clients, she wasn't a soft spoken woman.

She dressed very nice, but very severely. I would say for the occasion, because they wanted her to host this award show. And I was like, I like the outfit, but you need to put at least a little accessory with it because I said, what's everybody else wearing? She's like, oh, well last year they wore this. I'm like, that's like they're going to the oscars And you're just gonna wear your work suit I'm, like at least put a dress with it or something because do you wear dresses?

I'll go put a dress with it. And then she was like everybody welcome to the show I'm, so glad to have everybody and i'm like, I know you're soft spoken, but let's put some excitement I said you I said we can be soft spoken, but after they have microphones so we can be excited soft spoken So you're going to be welcome.

It's great to have everybody. It's like, Oh, I can say it like that. I'm like, yeah, you don't have to be loud. I'm like, they

Lily: have microphones. Yes, that is, that is so true for people who like, Oh my God, but what if I'm this or what if I'm that, and I'm always like, there are accommodations. So there are microphones if you're soft spoken, but also, so, um, I am disabled and I have many apparatuses.

I have walkers and canes and everything like that in case I need them. Guess what? If I know that I will have a walker at an event, a ramp will be there because I will tell them. If you are allergic to certain foods, tell them in advance, like There are accommodations to make you your more authentic self, like a microphone, but there are also accommodations that will just make it easier.

Cause I've been to too many events where people just like push the food away from them because they didn't tell anyone they had allergies. And so they just wouldn't eat the meal. And I'm like, I'm going to eat the meal or I'm going to order a pizza while I'm there, like there are ways this is not, while it is work, it does not have to be difficult.

So being aware that. You can do this and put the work in without making it harder for yourself. And I feel like that's what this podcast really does. You're still putting in the work, but this makes it so that you're not struggling as you are working. That's the point of this podcast is to make sure that you continually listen to every episode and your business life will move smoother and smoother with every episode.

It's the point of subscribing to this podcast. And so if you want something like that, Hit the subscribe button now. I'm not gonna have you wait until the end. I'm shameless. Do it. Like, it doesn't have to be hard. Like, you have to work hard, but it doesn't have to be hard. Why, why, that is a question. Why do people make it so much harder on themselves?

When they have the power to fix something, like a food allergy, that they just need to send it quick email. Let me be clear. It is never a big deal that I have a food allergy. With an event. There's been one biff Once with a nasty staff member who like put nuts out to, yeah, once, once in my entire career.

That's it. That's it though. So when, when people sit there and they're like, Oh, but I don't want to bother anybody. I guarantee anaphylactic shock will bother people so much more than you getting no nuts on the salad. It can be easier. It can be easy. We're here. We're here to help. We're here to help.
