22 - How to Build an Online Business and Improve Your Life with Dawn Marcotte

In today's episode of The Wise Dome podcast, we are joined by Dawn Marcotte. She is a published author who teaches women how to build businesses to enhance their lives and earn a living. Dawn is also a podcast guest speaker, freelance writer, and marathon runner.

Dawn shares her experiences with building businesses and how she built her business from her skills in writing compelling content. She came up with her business idea when she realized she could teach others how to create and write content. She shares writing and content creation tips and tricks through her Facebook group with her members.

Dawn went on to create her membership business, where she packaged all of this knowledge into an easy-to-follow program. Dawn now has her own website, which contains all of her programs and courses and a vibrant online community full of like-minded entrepreneurs.

Dawn also shared valuable insights on how she used Facebook groups to reach out to the right audience and grow her business. This marketing technique also drives her research for hot topics and uses them to create interest in her content and drive traffic to her website.

Here's Dawn's advice to those who want to start their own wisdom business:

"The thing that I learned the most from my audience is how important it is to be specific, right in who I am trying to help."

Dawn also emphasized the need to create highly targeted content to capture your audience's attention.
