Episode Summary
We've a very very special episode from London (We know right... not in Ireland) this week in association with the brilliant Irish Film London @irishfilmlondon
Remie Michelle Clarke @remiemichelle packed up her mics, and was very passionate about charting this personal and professional journey to London to sit down with Director Cathy Brady @bradymiss and Actor Nora Jane Noone @njnoone to chat about one of this years most anticipated Irish releases "Wildfire"
#SupportingIrishFilm #SupportingWomeninFilm
An emotional one for all concerned at Fni as we also yet again look to pay tribute to co lead; the late Nika McGuigan. (Check out our January Episode of Wrapchat in tribute to Nika's life and work)
Remie sat down to chat with the ladies after it's eagerly anticipated screening at BFI (The British Film Institute) last night. @britishfilminstitute
Cathy Brady is a two-time IFTA-winning director, having won Best Short in 2011 for her first film Small Change and again in 2013 for Morning, which was also selected for the BFI London Film Festival 2012 and won the Short Film Nominee prize for the European Film Awards at Cork Film Festival.
Nora-Jane Noone is an Irish actress. She rose to prominence for her debut role in The Magdalene Sisters. Her other notable roles were in The Descent and Brooklyn. In 2020, she was listed as number 47 on The Irish Times list of Ireland's greatest film actors.
