There is something about this episode's guest that when you come in contact with him, your life is never the same. He changes it for good. That's one of the reasons why I had to get Jean C Romulus on the podcast. Jean brings his journey through life leading into both the private and non-profit sectors to educate us on some cuisine (please do not listen on an empty stomach), history, his unique name, and amazing stories. Kicking off in Brooklyn, we head to the Caribbean, and West Africa.
Jean is one of the people making a significant impact on the part of the world that many tend to overlook. In collaboration with his team at Heal-Haiti and with the support from partners such as MADRE, Haitian Women's Collective, and Haitians in Diaspora, Jean has been able to touch the lives of people across the country.
Yes, Bring Back City 101.9!
