Meet Lori

Passionate about everything REAL with no fluff **Certified Life & Business Coach ** Speaker**Author**Marketing & Brand Expert**Business Development & Product Creation Strategist! I simply love helping people connect to their GREATNESS!!

Are you ready to unlock the potential within you and transform your passions and skills into your first or next digital product?

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/lorig...

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/lori...

00:00 Product, your first or your next digital product, right?

00:03 So I wanted to talk a little bit about.

00:07 About, you know, finding out what your.

00:10 Within your niche, what your.

00:13 Clients or potential clients actually.

00:16 Want, right?

00:18 You know, like, of course, you could think, okay, I think this is what my clients and potential clients want, but what do they actually want? And the way to find that out is to do surveys, to ask questions.

00:32 You know, send an email out, hey there, I'm starting this new course, I'm creating this new course, and I want to add a few more relevant things. What is it that you.

00:41 Would love to learn more about? Right?

00:45 Ask your clientele, ask your email list, ask your followers, ask everyone.

00:51 Ask your friends.

00:53 Ask everyone. Your family.

00:55 Ask everyone.

00:56 Get opinions is the point.

00:58 See what is most relevant, what challenge that your clients or potential clients need.

01:04 Solved.

01:04 And then, and only then, can you start to begin a plan of action that's going to actually help you create a course that sells. Create a course that your clientele.

01:16 Needs.

01:17 Right?

01:18 Create a course.

01:19 That also can get you into.

01:22 The next step of pr.

01:24 And because then you want to go on your podcast, you want to market this course, right? So step one is essentially finding out.

01:31 What topic makes your.

01:34 Clients and potential, potential clients.

01:37 Really excited about learning what challenge, what solution can you solve to whatever that challenge is.

01:44 That really.

01:45 Gets your.

01:47 Clients, potential clients excited to learn the solution, right?

01:52 So that's step one. What topic can you teach within your digital course that really is going to be relevant.

01:59 Helpful, and needed?

02:01 So for step two, now that you know, in step one, you figured out what you want to teach in your course, right? What challenge you could solve.

02:11 With an awesome solution, right? For your clients and new clients. So now we know what subject you're going to hone in on for your digital course, right? So once you know that, now you want to start getting a little bit more strategic and start outlining.

02:28 Specific, such as.

02:30 List the lessons you'll include in the course, right? 1, 2, 3, lesson 1, lesson 2, lesson 3.

02:37 Right?

02:38 You want to.

02:39 Also go over the actionable content that you will include, right? Will this lesson one include.

02:46 A video training? Will it include.

02:49 A checklist? Will it include a PDF.

02:52 Q&A? Will it include.

02:55 A, you get the picture, right?

02:58 Worksheets, a workbook, right? What will each lesson include.

03:02 In it and how will you give that lesson? Will it be.

03:06 Audio? Will it be video? Will it be ebook format? Right?

03:12 So will it be email format? There's so many different formats that you really want to get strategic on.

03:18 The lessons. Each lesson 1 2, 3, 4, 5 of your.

03:22 Digital course.

03:23 And how you're going to.

03:26 You know, present it, the format. So you want to start getting more specific about that and then you want to also get specific about within each lesson. How will this go? Will there be a PDF, Will there be a workbook? Will there be a video training? Will there be a live Q and A session? You get the idea, right?

03:47 So once you do that, you want to also.

03:50 List the lessons that you'll include.

03:53 Within your course in a strategic outline to get really clear and really specific on.

04:00 What your next steps are, right?

04:02 And then also, of course, the actionable content that's included in the course.

04:07 So that's step two.

04:09 So we have step one with knowing the topic of your digital course.

04:13 Step two with how we're going to.

04:16 Actually.

04:18 Create it. We have the outline and the format. We have sort of a little bit of an idea of how we're getting this digital.

04:26 Product.

04:27 Creation.

04:28 Course.

04:29 Done.

04:30 Right?

04:31 So now for step three.

04:34 So.

04:35 For step three.

04:36 I want to really, even though we went over this, everything is cumulative.

04:40 So even though I went over some of these things in step one and step two, step three is thought of the same and it all flows to bring everything together to create your course, cost your course, right?

04:52 So.

04:54 For step three.

04:55 I want it to be all about.

04:57 Okay, so what's out there already?

05:00 Do some market research, right?

05:02 What's out there already?

05:04 How can I make my product stand apart from all the 5,000.

05:08 Other.

05:09 Products.

05:10 That teach the same thing or are within the same niche? Right.

05:15 How can you make yours a little bit.

05:18 Different? Right? How can you make your product stand out? How can you make your product unique.

05:25 Away from the others, Right? How can you offer a different perspective on the same topic that's out there a gazillion times already.

05:34 Right?

05:35 What can you do differently? What unique.

05:38 Structure or teaching can you add.

05:42 To.

05:44 Something?

05:45 Anything. Like what? Like, okay, hey, learn how to.

05:49 Create an online course course, right?

05:51 How can you teach that differently? Right?

05:55 For me, I'm doing it very au natural. I'm not doing this training with slides. I'm not doing this training with.

06:04 You know.

06:06 A set camera and a set studio, right? I'm doing this training.

06:12 Very naturally.

06:13 I.

06:14 I.

06:15 You know, will offer to.

06:17 Send any.

06:19 Trainings, PDF trainings, eBooks. You can actually get that in my bio.

06:24 Maybe, I don't know, we'll figure out how to do that.

06:26 But point is, maybe my freebie point is, how can you make your digital products stand apart from all the others, right? How Is your product.

06:37 Going to align with your customers, with your clients, with your potential clients? Right.

06:44 How is it aligning with them differently than.

06:49 The same product over there that teaches the same.

06:52 Thing? Right?

06:54 So that's what you want to.

06:56 Think about, right? And how will you add value?

07:00 How will you add value to your product?

07:03 Right?

07:04 So the idea could be something. I mentioned this in an earlier training. It could be a trend. It could be. But you know what? We don't want trendy stuff. So.

07:14 You can pick up on something that's a trend, but how can you make it more relevant? How can you make it more.

07:21 You know, valuable?

07:24 So you want to ask yourself these questions. You want to fill the gap in the marketplace. So even though you have your outline.
07:32 You have your lessons outlined already.

07:35 You can always go and tweak after your market research.

07:39 So step three is all about market research, all about seeing what's out there. All about. All about seeing how you and your product.

07:46 Can deliver.

07:47 Uniquely and different than the same gazillion ones that are already out there, right?

07:53 So you want to ask yourself these questions. What's missing from the market that I'm teaching? Right.

07:59 Number two.

08:01 You know, what ideas.

08:03 I already mentioned that. What ideas are trending and how can I do it differently? Right?

08:08 What's missing from the market?

08:11 You know, what gaps are in the market? Are people searching for this.

08:16 Help online?

08:18 Are people searching for this.

08:20 Topic, for this hobby, for this, you know? You know what I mean? Get out there, do your market research.

08:26 Tweak your outline in your lessons if you need to.

08:30 But step three.

08:32 All about market research.

08:34 Market.

08:35 Research.

08:38 What.

08:39 Name can you give your course that's going to stand out from all the others.

08:45 Right?

08:46 So.

08:48 What's going to stand apart?

08:50 What name?

08:51 Like, like just write down.

08:53 And. And now we have.

08:55 So many assets that can actually help us come up with ideas for names, right?

09:00 So what name for your course could.

09:03 Will, you know, really.

09:06 Grab attention.

09:07 Right?

09:08 So a fun way to do that too is to think about your client avatar. Think about who you're serving, right? Think about.

09:16 What verbiage may attract them.

09:19 Right? Think about SEO in your title that could really.

09:24 You know.

09:25 Gain.

09:26 Lots of.

09:28 Recognition online.

09:30 Think about all of these different things that are going to help move your product, your digital course out there into the limelight, right?

09:40 So who does your course help?

09:42 What results are you promising? How will they benefit from your course? Right?

09:47 All of these things. If you can get those three things into a title strategically.

09:54 So that people know what they're purchasing, how it's going to help you them, right? That would be great. That would be really simplistic.

10:02 What are you promising? Right?

10:04 Who does the course help?

10:05 What promise are you making.

10:07 That.

10:08 You know you are going to help solve within.

10:11 That course or you are going to help teach, right? Somebody wants to learn how to crochet, you're going to teach them how to do that. Play guitar, what is it? Right?

10:22 So who does the cause help?

10:24 What results are you promising and how will they benefit from your course? What will they learn once your course.

10:31 Is completed? Right?

10:33 So get to it. Brainstorm. Think about names. Try to incorporate those three things into your title so people know exactly what your course is. And that's step four.

10:44 Brainstorm for an awesome course.

10:48 Name.

10:49 There you go.

10:51 And then for step five, you simply want to talk about why your digital.

10:56 Product course is a game changer, right?

11:00 You want to get it out there. You want to start marketing your course online.

11:05 You want to talk about it in podcasts, you want to figure out you can do paid advertising if you don't want to do paid advertising, you can do influencer.

11:15 You know, collaborating.

11:17 You can do email collaborations.

11:20 You can do so many things to get your course out there.

11:23 You can strategically.

11:25 Set up your social media.

11:28 To.

11:29 Really.   11:30 Help and get people excited about.

11:33 Your new digital product.

11:35 So that's step five, guys. Just talking about the game changer product.

11:41 That you have and how your digital product product is going to help.

11:45 Everybody.

11:46 Who joins in.

11:48 Achieve.

11:49 Whatever it is that you're teaching. What are they going to learn? What are they getting out of this course.

11:56 Right?

11:57 That's number five.

11:58 Another really great way to find out what your clientele and potential clientele.

12:04 Needs.

12:05 Rather than what you think they.

12:07 Want. But you want to really create.

12:09 Something that they really, really need, right?

12:12 So look at your blog post comments. What are the comments on there? Look at your social media posts.

12:19 What.

12:20 Posts get the most interaction in relation to your business.

12:24 Right?

12:25 What questions?

12:26 What about email responses? What about.

12:29 Your most popular blog topics? Or.

12:33 If you don't have a blog again.

12:35 Social media topics, right?

12:37 What's being said? If you're in a community, in your group, if you have a Facebook group, if you have an online.   12:43 Membership group, right?

12:45 What is it that everyone's talking about? What.

12:50 Challenge can you solve for your niche that's going to really get them to their next level of success.

12:58 And really have your costs sell? Because as much as we, we know we want to.

13:03 Help and you know so and really have your course.

13:07 Sell as well, right?

13:09 So you can ask survey questions. There's just so many different things.

13:13 And then you want to brainstorm, you want to, once you get all of that stuff or once you do all your research.

13:20 Go back on social media, go to other.

13:23 You know, sites that are similar to yours.

13:26 What is it.

13:28 That is really relevant in this field right now? Do your market research. What do people want help with? What do people want answers to.

13:36 In regard to? I don't know how to cook a chocolate cake. I bake, right? We bake. We don't cook cake, we bake.

13:45 But how to bake a chocolate cake, right?

13:48 What? You know, maybe people want to know how to, how to do a flourless chocolate cake. Maybe that's like the latest trend. And not that we want to ride on trends, but we want to make our.

14:00 Our topic unique and different. So if somebody is a chef, is a cook, is a.

14:06 Influence, a food influencer, right?

14:09 Maybe you want to do something.

14:12 That is flourless cake. If that's like the latest crazy thing that's going on, you get the point, right?

14:20 So we want to do something.

14:22 That is relevant to our niche, right? We want to hone in on a subject with laser light precision.

14:29 On how we can help.

14:32 Our clientele and our potential clientele, right?

14:37 So.

14:38 You want to ask yourself a whole bunch of things. Like.

14:42 Like, okay, once you.

14:44 Do your market research, you want to start asking, asking. Okay, maybe it's two topics that.

14:49 Came up forefront, right?

14:51 So what topic do you want to work on first?

14:55 Don't create.

14:56 A course that's going to try to solve 500 different things at once, right?

15:02 What one challenge can you.

15:05 Really help your clientele with and what can you start creating? So that's your topic. So if you have two like runner up.

15:13 Which one do you want to pick first?

15:15 Maybe if they're.

15:17 You know, really related to each other, you can integrate into the course. But the point is you want to keep it simplistic. Something that your clientele is going to be interested in is going to actually complete the course and it's going to find success with. Because when that happens, you'll get great testimonials, you'll get great sales, you'll get great priority.

15:39 And that moves you toward your.

15:41 Next digital product.
