And today we're going to be talking about three places you're missing out on sales because you're not using video And I know People Love and hate video at the same time, but.

What if it feels like you're doing everything right? You've built that amazing offer that you believe in. You're showing up on social media, writing emails.

Managing your business like a total pro. But sales still feel like an uphill climb.

But what if I told you the missing ingredient isn't more content, more hustle, or even a bigger audience It's strategic video. And in the right places I'm telling you, video can take you a long way.

So if you're a content creator or solopreneur selling courses or memberships, there are three specific spots in your business where adding a short, intentional video Can mean the difference between a maybe later and a heck, yes And no. This isn't about, you know.

Being doing Instagram reels or going viral on TikTok or learning video editing, anything like this. This is about working smarter, not harder So I want to dive into the three places you're leaving sales on the table, and we're going to fix that The first one is Your sales page. You could be doing A video For each sales page that kind of explains it. You know, your sales page is already working overtime to convinceCold and warm visitors to trust you with their time, money, and inbox. And that's a big ask So if you add a short video, even just 60 to 90 minutes, excuse me, 60 to 90 seconds long.

This creates that instant connection. It allows someone to see your passion, hear your voice, and feel like they actually know you even before they read a single wordThat connection is really important, especially In 2025 and on in the world of AI So people need to have that know like and trust factor before.

They buy from you. And this is one way to do it So You don't need fancy lighting. You don't even need a script I just want you to speak from the heart or even do like a walkthrough of what they get in the course, because That really helps a lot. Tell them who it's for, what they'll get, and how it helps themWhat is that transformation? And that's it.

So the second Place is the videoOn your thank you page. Like thank you for buying And this one's so overlooked it hurts. And I'm going to be honest, I need to do better on some of these videos too myself. So you're not the only one there probably struggling with this or if you don't have it.

So when somebody buys or signs up for something free Or they land on a thank you page for something that they Purchased A lot of people will be like, hey, you know, thanks, check your email. But this is really a golden moment. They've already said yes, they're excited And they are really looking for confirmation that they made the right decision. So this is where you show up.

You can just record a 30 second to 60 second video that says hey, thank you so much. I'm so excited you're here. You just made an amazing decision that moves you closer to freedom And escaping your nine to five or whatever it may be. Check your inbox for the next steps and let me know if you get stuck. You can even throw in there, hey, I'm really excited about this course or this digital product because you know X, Y, Z.

And it's that simple and it's powerfulAnd if you give refunds it can even lower your refund risk. It's going to raise confidence that people made the right decision and make them feel supported immediately because you've shown up.

So the next one is the cart close AKA the final push This is one that I will actually put In one or two of my emails or a link to it So whether you're running a live launch or you can even do this for an evergreen funnel.

Some of those last emails are where people may pause or procrastinate or even just completely ghost yo So that's why You could do a one minute cart close video and it can be really magical You can channel real energy again, remind them why they're considering your offer.

Really create that connection And you can say something like if you've been thinking about joining, now's the time. I built this course or digital product for people who are ready to stop doing everything alone And start scaling with burnout or whatever it is that you're, you know, selling.

The door is closed tonight. I don't want you to miss this. You've wait long enough. Let's do this together Or I like to actually do again that walkthrough video like I kind of said that you put on the sales page You can just do something simple like a look behind the scene And I think I Learned that from Liz Wilcox. She's like email marketing master. And so I will sometimes in a launch use.

This video to be like, okay, I'm giving you behind the scenes look and I'll actually go into the course or whatever it is and show them what they're getting So either way, this isn't pushy. It's just clarity. It's that leadership and it works I wanted to throw in a bonus though video and I kind of touched on it already. And that's the behind the scenes video So That's a bonus that's going to help you build trust, especially in your course or membership or whatever it is.

You're giving that audience a peek behind the curtain. Just like I said You could change this out for the Clark Close video I like the behind the scenes video better, but either way it works And you're pulling back the curtain. Kind of like the wizard of Oz, remember?

And this is, you know, how I actually, it could be not even just to look behind the scenes of the course or membership, whatever it is It could also be like if I'm selling A Trello content planning board or templateI could show them, hey, this is how I actually set up my content calendar. Or this is what my Trello board looks like.

It doesn't have to be polished. Again The more real you are, the better because people connect with real people. They want real. They don't want you to be perfect It's that authenticity that builds authority.

And I've often, often had people tell me, and it's kind of funny That They love.

That I show up as me. I don't have makeup on, and I'm not saying anything bad about people that do, but I don't wear makeup. A lot of times you'll see a Christmas tree in the background of my video when I was doing reels at my old apartment. So I mean, there's just different things that are like, it lets me know that I can show up and I can teach and give something valuable and I don't have to be perfect.

So that's another. Good one So basically, you don't need a whole production team. You don't need a big YouTube strategy. Really. You just need a camera, some clarity and connection. Or behind the scenes. And then I want you to record just a short video clip Don't think about being perfect No pressure, just progress Because showing up on video. It's not about being polished. It's about being present and showing your true self to your people.
