[00:00:00]: Hey there. I am Lise Cartwright, founder of Hustle and Groove, and I am super excited to be chatting to you today about how you can repurpose content and turn that into multiple digital products. Before we dive into that though, I do want to talk about the digital product style that we're going to be talking about. We're going to be talking about specifically things like creating a mini course, creating a planner, creating templates, creating, creating workshops. Right. We're going to be talking about lots of different things. So digital products cover a range. So you're going to basically pick and choose whatever makes the most sense for you.
[00:00:40]: So the first step is to simply do an audit of the content that you currently have. So if you have a long form content platform like a blog, a podcast or a YouTube channel, start there. And what you're specifically looking for is over the last 30 days, what content got the most views. So that's where you're gonna start. The next area that you're going to start or the second place that you're going to look is at your current courses, templates, workshops, workbooks, whatever it is that you are currently selling. You're going to have a look at that as well and you're going to approach that slightly differently and you're going to ask yourself the question, could I deliver this existing content in a different way? So those are the two places that you're looking in terms of being able to repurpose is if you've got a long form content platform, what's been resonating in the last 30 days. And then if you've got existing offers that you're selling, are there offers that you can turn into additional things? Now we're going to cover that a little bit more in a second, but I want you to just kind of do that kind of audit of where you're looking at the existing stuff that you already have. Thirdly, the other area that you're going to look is your Google Drive or your computer folders and you're going to go and have a look and see anything that you've started.
[00:02:02]: Now this is something that happens to me all the time, time where I will get so far down a path of creating something and then shiny object and I leave it, I don't come back to it. I did this exercise a couple of weeks ago and found about five products that were almost completed but have been sitting on my Google Drive for at least three years. So those are the three different areas, your long form content, your existing offers, and just going to have A look at your Google Drive or your computer folders and seeing what is already there. Now, for those of us who also have notebooks or anything like that that we're jotting ideas down in, I do recommend going and have a look at that as well. Now that's going to be a little bit different because often if we're jotting ideas down, that means it's something that actually has to be created. So not necessarily repurposing, but it is another place that you can find that will allow you to create multiple digital products. So that is step one, going and having a look at all the different places that you might have content. And then we're going to move into the next thing, which is how do you then turn those into multiple digital products? How do you kind of figure that piece out? Okay, so the next thing that we're going to do is we're going to take a look at all of that existing content that we currently have.
[00:03:27]: I'm going to just kind of run it through some different ideas, options, questions, that type of thing. So if you have long form content, so say you have a blog post that is like 3,000 words long and in the last 30 days it has received the most traffic. Now you've got the ability to take that blog post content and do something else with it. So this is where you might ask yourself the question, can I create a template out of this? Can I turn this into a workbook? Could I turn it into a planner? Would I turn it into a mini training? Can I deliver a live workshop on this? Right? So that's what you're going to do for your Russian content. Now if you have a YouTube channel, so you've got video content, and you ask yourself the exact same questions, could this be turned into a workbook? Could it be turned into a journal? Would you actually offer coaching around that topic? Right? Whatever that happens to be, could it be something that you did as a live workshop? Could it be turned into a mini course? Could you do a live coaching program, right? Or could you extract that out as an art, audio only, and turn that into an audio course? Those are some of the options that you might be able to do with your video content. Now, similarly, with your audio only content, could you create journal prompts for your audio content? You've got a podcast. Could you take a season of podcasts, right? You've got maybe you've got some episodes that are doing really well and they're along the same topics. Could you create that into a season? Could you turn that into coaching, could you turn that into a workbook? There are lots of different ways that you can do this and it really just depends on what you want to do when it comes to that kind of content.
[00:05:16]: You could also do things like do I want to do this as a paid challenge or a boot camp? Lots of things. And again, it is ultimately going to come down to what do you want to do, how do you want to approach it? So that's kind of what you're going to do with the long form content. Now with your existing offers, you're kind of asking yourself the same question. So if you have a one on one coaching program, can you turn that into bite size self study mini courses? Right. Breaking down your entire coaching approach and turning that into actual mini self study course options for people who aren't able to invest in your one on one coaching. I talk about this all the time with my members because a number of them have high ticket coaching and they're always like, well, how am I going to build my email list if I don't have anything else to offer? And so this is when we will walk through that process of okay, well let's turn that coaching program into some self study courses that allow people to at least get a sense of who you are and what you do. And then there is a nice natural progression to upgrade them into coaching when they are ready. If you also only have coaching, you could take elements of that coaching and turn it into a 30 day bootcamp.
[00:06:29]: You could turn it into a live workshop, that type of thing. Now if you're someone who only has templates or workbooks or journals or anything like that, could you take that content and turn it into an audio course? I'm a huge fan of audio courses at the moment and I love, love, love taking content that I have in a workbook, journal or even a book and turning that into audio content. So that's something else that you can kind of think about. At the end of the day, it really just comes down to if you have existing offers, can you turn that into something slightly different? So for example, I have a 90 day program called Grow, Nurture, Sell, which is a one on one coaching program. I have also turned that into a coaching membership. So people, once they get to the end of that, they can go into a coaching membership. And then all of the elements that make up that 90 day one on one coaching have all been broken down into individual self study courses. So all of the things that I teach in that one on one coaching has been broken down into many courses, mini trainings, templates, workbooks, workshops, right? All of that is really easy to do when you actually have an entire coaching program.
[00:07:45]: But similarly, if you had a big course, you can take that same approach. You could also just do one off coaching sessions, you could turn that into an audit. You can do lots of different things, but the different types of offers really does depend on what it is that you like to do. So what I want to do now is give you some options of what you could do. So you are looking at all of the content that you have right now thinking, what could I turn this into? So here are some options. You could take your, your current workbook, journal book and create an audio program around it. If you only have audio content right now, you could create journals, workbooks, that type of thing. If you are a service based business, you could take some of the things that you already offer and turn them into quick 60 minute service, you know, calls, you know, box of days, anything like that.
[00:08:43]: You could take anything that you do right now, regardless of whether you're a coach, course creator, anything, and turn that into a mini course. And the mini course could be purely written, it could be YouTube video content and it could also be audio. There are no right or wrong ways to create a mini course. If you have an offer right now where, you know, people kind of get stuck, then this is where you might choose to do something like a paid challenge. Or you could do a longer program that is like a, a boot camp. So those kind of work. Well, if you know that your target customer gets stuck. Coaching sessions are also a great option if you don't really want to create any thing.
[00:09:22]: If you just want to keep it really light and simple, just doing a 30 or 60 minute coaching session could be a really good option. Templates, right? Most of us, if we have created courses or coaching, probably have templates that we can offer. So templates are always a good option. Visual workbooks or planners or even physical are always a good option too. Particularly if you have written content. You can use AI to help you turn those into other things. I'm a huge fan of doing live workshops, so that's another option. You can also take your existing offers and turn them into packages or bundles.
[00:09:55]: If you don't want to have to go down the path of creating anything sort of new from what you already have. And packages and bundles are a good way to approach that. Another idea is to add in something that's like a private podcast course. You can do asynchronous coaching There are lots and lots of different ways that you can kind of spin this. Okay, so now that we have gone through and done an audit of what you currently have that you can repurpose, and we've talked about the ways that you can actually repurpose, let's actually make sure that you are creating what I like to call easy, yes. Offers. And we do that using a tool called the Tangible Offer Framework. Now, that happens to be the free gift that you'll get getting.
[00:10:38]: So you'll see more information about that with the links that are alongside this audio training. But I wanted to walk you through a couple of the first questions in the Tangible Offer Framework document because I think it will help make sure that whatever it is that you do choose to create repurpose, you're doing so and making sure that you're meeting the needs of the audience that you're trying to get in front of. So the first question is, who is the ideal target customer for this particular product? And this is where you get specific. This is not where you go female creative entrepreneurs. It's a really huge bucket. You're going to get a little bit more specific. You could be female creative entrepreneurs who are stuck with how to write a book. Particularly if you were doing anything around writing a book.
[00:11:24]: Right. That would be your ideal target customer. The second question, or the actually the next two questions that are really important is what are the pain points that this particular ideal target customer is struggling with through the lens of that particular offer? Right, so this is where you're starting to get really, really specific. So ideally you're going to jot down your three to eight pain points and then the next question is, what does life look like for them after that problem is solved? What do they envisage life looking like for them? And ideally you're going to do is take what you wrote at question number two, which is all those pain points, and you're going to provide solutions to each of those individually, which is what you're going to be obviously covering off inside your actual training template, whatever that actually ends up being. So when you go through the entire Tangle Offer Framework document, there is a little mini training that walks you through how to actually answer each of those questions. But that's how you make sure that you create easy use offers and that you're always speaking to your ready to buy customers. So hopefully you have a much clearer understanding of how you can repurpose your existing content into multiple digital products. And I'm so excited to hear what you actually do and make sure you go and check out the Tangible Offer Framework document the freebie that I am gifting you and I will chat to you soon.
