[00:00:00]:
Hello and welcome to the Activation Blueprint where you can go from idea to income with the beta launch method in this presentation is for the woman entrepreneur who feels called to business but you're overwhelmed with where to start. Maybe you've been tempted to build out your entire course program, product or service or even membership and try to launch it to Cricuts. Or maybe you've built it out and you thought hey, if I build it they will come and you put it on your website and nothing. This presentation is for you because if you have been finding that you have been launching to Cricuts building it before even making the dime, this is your wake up call to use the beta launch method as your next step. What we're going to be covering in the next 15 to 20 minutes together is what is a beta launch? And even if you're familiar with what a beta founding launch might be or you've heard about it in the online space before, I'm going to let you in on a little secret of what it actually is. That might be the mindset shift that you need to actually use the beta launch method to go from idea to income relatively quick within 30 days or sooner. We're also going to talk about why you actually need one and the importance of running a beta launch and the steps to take on your own if you actually want to implement the beta launch method real quick before we get in. Welcome.
[00:01:35]:
I am Kristen Duranti and I am an EX9 to fiver, a government office manager turned Kingdom Business coach, speaker, virtual event strategist and founder of the Kingdom Business Revolution and Business by God's Design Academy as well as the host of the Kingdom Business Revolution podcast. I am so passionate about helping faith filled women who are called to the online business space bring that dream to life and actually create a profitable and sustainable business by God's design without being a slave to social media and without compromising your faith and your values. From the past five years I have seen that the clients that don't get results inside my programs are the ones who never launch. And why do they never launch? It came to be the same reason over and over again and the same reason I see others not launching in the online space or those who aren't having a profitable and sustainable online business. They either launched a crickets because they didn't have enough of the right people on their email list or they decided to create everything inside a vacuum and then put it out there expecting people to buy. And if that is you, you're either having a hard Time finding your people or you're wondering why aren't they buying my course, my product, my program or service and you feel like you're shouting out to this void, then this presentation on the beta launch method is going to be for you. I am a wife, a mama, a step mama and a mom against the mainstream agenda. When my little one came into this world in 2021, he was a surprise little blessing and I knew that I did not want to return back to work in order to have someone else raising him.
[00:03:26]:
I wanted to be home. So this business that I had created and started back in 2019, 2020 provided me the ability to turn my resignation in and be a stay at home mom as well as bringing this dream to life even further in helping other women do this. The beta launch method is a five step process that allows you to run a beta founding member program. So what is it? Well, a beta launch is a low risk, high impact method to validate your offer with real people to earn income quickly and refine your program or your product with live feedback before building the final version. Most entrepreneurs build in isolation. They assume what their people need. They build the course, a program, a membership, and then no one buys and they even over invest before there's proof of concept. So a beta founding member program lets you build with people, not just for them.
[00:04:32]:
You get paid to validate and test the idea. This isn't about waiting until it's perfect. It's about taking action that's going to produce clarity and that clarity produces momentum and confidence that you need. A beta also allows you to earn income and create that momentum while you're still in the creation and building phase. It is a proven strategy to launch and profit. The idea is simple. You sell your product before you create it. And this strategy helps you avoid spending months building out something that might not sell.
[00:05:16]:
Here's that little mindset shift that is critical in understanding what beta launching actually is. A beta launch is just a test. This is just a test. You're collecting information. You are validating whether or not that offer or your idea is something your person wants. When you treat your beta launch like an experiment, you shift from that fear of failure to curiosity and discovery. You stop seeing a no as rejection and you start seeing it as data and direction. And you also stop attaching your identity to the outcome and focus on what truly matters and getting to know your ideal client.
[00:06:07]:
When you think of your beta launch as a test, you are just putting something out there and asking, hey, is this something that you are Interested in. You are actually acting as a scientist. You're putting a hypothesis out there in your beta launch and asking, hmm, let's see if that works. Most people sabotage their own launch because they're too emotionally attached to the outcome or when they're launching, they come from a place of this has to work. What if. Or what if no one buys? Or what does this say about me? If no one joins my program? And coming from that place and that energy is not a good place to be in the first place? When you can flip the script on those thoughts and that negative energy, you can ask yourself, h, let's see what works. Let's learn what they actually need and let's test this message so we can get the data that we need in order to perfect that offer and the idea that we have. There's three detachment anchors for your beta.
[00:07:26]:
One, this is a test, not a final product. You're allowed to experiment, refine and pivot. Two, I'm here to learn. I'm just collecting data to see what my audience wants. And three, the results don't define me. My obedience does. And success is defined by taking action and align action in making changes. If it's not something that my audience wants or needs.
[00:08:21]:
Your beta launch is the first launch of a new product or program. It's also the most effective way to start selling your product, your program, your service, or your membership. Because the last thing I want you to do is spend six months creating something that no one wants. Sell and validate the idea first. A beta is simply a test. And this is also an important concept to grasp. You're not trying to make money. You're not trying to build a million dollar business in a week.
[00:08:48]:
We are just testing do I have something people are willing to pay for? A successful beta doesn't mean you sold out every spot. It means you got enough paid responses to confidently say, I have something people want, even if it's just a few people. That's real world evidence. Not a guess, not a poll and not your sweet grandma buying out of love. It's a success even if you don't fill every single seat because now you have data and it tells you what people want or what they don't want. If no one buys, that's still not a failure. It's a successful experiment because it gave you an answer. You're not throwing spaghetti at the wall anymore.
[00:09:31]:
You're making sound business decisions from real data. When I hear my clients say my beta tanked or my founding member failed, it can't fail, it can't tank. It's impossible. It's a test. A test doesn't fail. It gives you data. And that's all. Your beta founding member program is market research with a price tag.
[00:09:53]:
And just like in science, you get to test a hypothesis, collect the results, and then decide what to do next based on that evidence. And that is it. So here's how it works. Sell first, create later. You start by offering your product idea to potential customers when they buy. It's been validated and you create it. You've heard of irresistible offers. You need to create an irresistible offer.
[00:10:22]:
I like to think of it as an irresistible and impactful yes. Offer. And since this is your first time offering this product, it's already irresistible. You don't have to have all the ingredients of a core offer in your beta launch. You don't even have to have a sales page. If you're spending time creating all of that, you're. You're defeating the purpose of creating it before you make it. Your beta founding member program is new and exciting.
[00:10:48]:
People love being a part of something new. First to the market with your unique differentiator and solution. I mean, that's phenomenal. It's at a discounted price. You're going to offer a significant investment or discount for founding members. It's going to position it in such a way that it's going to provide massive value at a special investment and it's going to limit spots so you cater to a limited number of people to create that ethical sense of urgency and exclusivity. It's a live experience for the people. You're either going to conduct live lessons on Zoom with real time coaching and Q and A, or you're going to create the lessons beforehand and you're going to drip them out week by week or day by day, whatever, it works, whatever you're doing.
[00:11:42]:
And then meet with a live human experience shortly after they've implemented the task or the homework so that you can give them coaching. And you can implement something that I call the feedback loop, where you're getting consistent feedback from your people so you can make it better. The benefits of the beta launch method is you get paid first. You get paid to create and build your business by God's design. Now remember I said that this is a test and we're not here to try to make money. But bringing in income as you're creating it finally allows you to bring income into your business and have a cash flow instead of spending months and months behind closed doors and Creating something that never even sells. So when you can validate it and get revenue in your pocket, that is exciting and creates momentum for you as well. Because the last thing I ever want you to do is spend six months of your life creating something and not getting paid.
[00:12:39]:
You validate your offer. Getting paid is the only real validation of a great offer and a great idea, bottom line. And getting paid first gives you evidence that you're on the right path. It's the easiest offer to sell. It is going to always be the easiest ask and the easiest offer. Because people like to participate in beta programs because they know that they will get high attention from the host and high touch access to you and it's going to be high value for that low investment. So it's a win win. And it creates amazing social proof for you.
[00:13:17]:
Your founding members will become the best case studies. They'll allow you to get social proof and testimonials from them. And they will also make your future launches even more impactful and profitable. When you can bring them in for live case studies. You also get to implement the feedback loop, which constantly gets feedback from your founding members on how to make the product more amazing. They're going to think of things you might not have thought of because you're too close to the the solution. As the expert, you've already solved the problem, you're too far removed from that problem. So they will be able to think of questions that you might not have considered thinking about and give you feedback on what works and what isn't working.
[00:14:03]:
Plus, I love this little piece. You're going to be forced to create it because once people pay you, you'll be motivated to deliver. So my clients have sometimes had some concerns from the beta launch method. Is this honest to do? Selling something before it's even created? Or what if there's quality issues? Or what if I have people that are less committed or less engaged? Well, it's not dishonest to sell it before it's created. Unless you lie about it. Obviously you're going to be clear on the process. You deliver the content live. You're not promising something that doesn't exist.
[00:14:43]:
You're being transparent with the founding members and you're clearly articulating how the content's going to be delivered and when. So a solution is clearly communicating to the beta participants that they're testing an early version and that their feedback will help you improve the product. Ensure that you have a plan to address and fix any issues that might arrive. They get access to you, you Will price and structure it in a way that allows them to have skin in the game and completion will give them access to the full blown product for free in the future once it's released. And sometimes there's a concern that the product might not be fully polished or have some bugs in it. Well, no kidding, it is a beta, right? And you're putting it together with them. Every single beta that I put together has been messy and it's messy on purpose because I'm creating it as I go and they're helping me refine it. I've done it with my Summits with Impact program.
[00:15:46]:
Here's an example of what I created back in 2023 and I also have done it with my bundles with Impact, the roadmap for hosts. And each and every time I create a new offer for my existing clients or future clients, I use beta lunch method and take them through the process so that I can monetize as I am building it out. So benefits to the client or to those founding members? Well, they get exclusive access to you and a new products and service that's not yet available. They have a discounted investment and they usually receive special founding member perks and future bonuses because of being a founding member. And they get direct influence and feedback to help you make the program amazing. And their input ensures that the final product not only meets their needs, but also solves their problem. And they get that personalized experience, that higher touch access and support from you during the beta phase. So when to run a beta launch? Well, every time you have a new idea or a new offer, or if you've been sitting there trying to get your course, your program, your membership out in the world, take a step back and run a beta launch instead.
[00:17:04]:
You run it when you don't have an email list yet, when you're just getting started to launch your business, when you're launching something new, no matter what stage of business you're in, or if you've been trying to duct tape it together and create it in the vacuum and it's sitting on your website and no one's buying. Run a beta launch. What do you need to have before you run a beta launch? Well, you get to have clarity on the one problem that you solve and how you solve that problem. You also need to have clarity on your unique selling proposition and differentiator. What sets you apart, what makes your unique solution different. You get to have clarity on your ideal client and the transformation that they're looking for. And you should have mapped out on a piece of paper or a Google Doc. Your offer structure your beta founding member program, the step by step process that you're going to take someone through and then put together a priority wait list and let them know that this is coming.
[00:18:05]:
And notice I didn't say that you need an email list because you don't. You can have your priority list put together and be talking about it on social media, showing up in other Facebook groups and adding value and letting them know that this is coming. And when you run a beta launch, you're only looking for a specific number of people to join you. 10, 5, 15, whatever number that is that says if I get this number of people in my beta founding member program that I know I validated my offer and that is all you need. Now when you click this link right here, you can screenshot it. It's business by godsdesign.com forward/beta. You're going to be able to download the five step beta method that I take my clients through inside the idea to income 30 day sprint using the beta launch method. And it's a step by step process and a checklist where you're going to be able to go through and actually run your own beta launch.
[00:19:18]:
I'll take you over there and walk you through it right now. All right. When you click that link, it's going to ask you to make a copy of the five step beta launch method, SOP and workbook. So it's going to give you the five steps that you can walk through right here and it's also going to give you a checklist that you can go through. And I also included as a bonus the importance of doing a debrief, a beta founding member debrief and I give you a beta launch debrief that you can actually walk through. Once you have ran your beta launch, you don't need to opt in to grab this SOP and workbook. It's yours. Complimentary for being here with this session.
