 00:01 Hey there everyone. I'm Jodi Daring, the founder of Daring Virtual Services I work behind the scenes with women running incredible businesses, coaches, creatives and consultants. And one thing that I see over and over Are that the women I work with are doing too much. They're carrying too much. So I want you to know that you're not alone. This training is about doing things differently. Not by hustling harder, but but by being more strategic with your time and energy We're going to talk about how to map out a plan that actually fits your business And your capacity And how to start handing off the parts that are slowing you down. So let's dive in I always like to start with saying what we're going to cover. So here is what we are going to cover in the next few minutes First off, how to figure out what actually matters in your business right now. Not what Instagram says you should be focused on, but what is right for your current season.  

00:56 Second, how to sort through the chaos and decide What needs you and what does not And finally, how to build a 90 day plan that gives you clarity and traction without Burning out. That's the key Whether you're doing this solo or you have a tiny but mighty team, or you have a big team, this training is for you So many of the women I work with are spinning. They've got notebooks full of ideas, trello boards, voice notes, post its and they really feel spread stuck after a while. They're launching offers the night before the cart opens. They're behind on emails, they've got half written course materials just collecting dust. And underneath that, they all seem to feel guilt. There's this I should be able to do this idea floating around in their minds. But no one built their dream business so they could be stuck in ClickUp or some project management tool at midnight googling how to fix a zap It doesn't have to be this way. So I'm Jodi. As I said, I'm a virtual project manager and business strategist. I help women move their ideas from the back of their brains into a done reality I'm not exactly a VA or an implementer though. I have a VA on my team and support my clients that way too But my superpower is really seeing what needs to happen, building a plan and helping you get the right kind of support to carry through Whether you're building a course, launching a website, or just trying to get your admin systems cleaned up, I help you stop spinning and start moving. That's where my gifts are.  

02:29 So every stage of business Brings more to your plate. And if you're doing it all manually, it starts to bottleneck. You become the bottleneck in your own business. I've seen this with coaches who are onboarding clients manually every week, with wellness practitioners who want to offer workshops but can't find time to plan them And even with consultants who have incredible offers that never make it past the I need to write a sales page phase So one thing I want to say is that growth Doesn't mean doing more It means doing less but better. And that's what we're here to figure out today A lot of people hire help way too soon and way too vaguely So they bring on a VA without a clear plan and then feel frustrated when things fall through the crack I'm going to tell you something that may surprise you. You do not need to hire help first. You need a plan before you hire help When you plan it well, you can pass it off confidently. And I find over and over again that's where freedom lives in the structure and with you passing it off confidently I love a 90 day window because it's short enough to feel doable, but long enough to create momentum You don't need a 12 month plan right now. I really think the power is in planning the next three months.  

03:48 It gives you time to focus, it gives you flexibility and real time feedback. So if something's not working, you're not stuck for a whole year with a plan that is now irrelevant Plus, 90 days helps you create urgency without panic. You can say, this quarter I'm going to get X done and I'm not doing it alone Here's how I think we could do this. Before you set new goals You need to reflect. So step one here is to reflect. I want you to reflect very honestly on what's working What's not, and where you're spinning your wheels, where you are stuck. Maybe you've been saying you want to launch a group program, but you haven't emailed your list in weeks  Maybe you're booking clients, but the back end is a mess and it's really draining you You don't have to fix everything You just have to get really honest about where you are so we can build from there. So pause this presentation now. Grab a piece of paper or the Notes app and reflect very honestly on what's working, what's not, and where you're stuck All right, step two. Now that you have reflected, what would you love to move forward in the next 90 days?I like to think in themes when I'm helping people strategize and plan for the next 90 days. So themes would be things like offers, operations, visibility Back end systems, financial goals, whatever it might be Pick one thing that you want to move forward in the next 90 days.  

05:14 I had a client once whose 90 day focus was to help prep Her course launch. I'm sorry, to finally help prep her course launch. And she kept trying to do both with no plan and she was completely burned out So we made a roadmap, we followed these steps and she clarified what she needed to do herself and we ended up being able to give the rest to her va. So she launched a month later and told me she actually enjoyed the process So follow these steps and you will be having more fun in your business. So I'm going to ask you again. Pause the recording and brainstorm what you actually want to move forward in the next three months All right, step three. Break it down Big goals are beautiful, but I will tell you they do not get done without little goals  If your big goal is to launch a podcast, your little goals might be something like create a content outline. Choose intro music, Set up publishing  Write your bio. Assign the editing to someone else. I love that one and that last one. Assign the editing to someone else. That's the pass off moment. These are the moments that we are looking for today So pause again Break down your One thing you want to move forward and give me four, five little goals that will get you there Your time is incredibly valuable and your business will grow faster when you start treating your time that way. I'm going to say it again because it is very important.

You'll be making more money  When you start treating your time that way I want to ask you To start asking yourself  What are my best Use of me tasks? These are the things that only you can do. The parts of your business that move the needle because they require your brain, your voice and your leadership Everything else we need to either delegate it, delay it Or delete it Not because it's not important, but because it's not the best use of you And whenever you do that, you create Breathing room which allows you space to think, create Rest, and really hone in on your own leadership in your business So here's a super simple filter that I want you to start using With every task on your plate Right here  Does this move the needle?  

07:47 Is this the best use of me? If the answer to either of those is no, it's time to Delegate, delay, or delete it. You don't need a color coded system for this. You just need to pause and get really honest. It's incredibly effective The delegation doesn't have to be big or complicated. One of my clients was spending hours prepping her podcast, writing show notes, uploading to her platform, sending it to her list, and it was really burning her out We set up a simple process. Handed that part off to her va, and now all she does is record  That's her zone. That's her best use Everything else related to the podcast, gone When you create a clear plan, your support system, even if it's just a few hours a week, can actually help you move forward. You don't need a unicorn va. You need clarity. You need a plan that creates impact, and you need to be the leader.    So I've been right where you are right now. I run a business and I've come to need help, and I've been stuck in these same thought patterns myself. So what gets in the way? I know what you're thinking because I thought it myself. It's faster if I just do it myself. Or I don't even have time to delegate because I've got all these balls in the air and I don't want my business to fail or I don't even know what to hand off I hear you I've worked with so many women in the exact same place But here's the truth. It only gets heavier until you shift something And support doesn't have to be expensive It has to be strategic Also, I want to let you know If you don't, that delegation is a skill. Planning is a skill. You're not late and you're not behind. You just haven't had the right tools yet. But now you do. You can pause and ask what's mine to do.  

09:35 And what's mine to delegate This is how momentum starts Okay? I want to leave you with something simple, practical, and doable. Because listening to a training and feeling inspired is great. But clarity only matters if you take action So here's what I want you to do in the next seven days, the next week, not next month, not when you're less busy This week Go ahead and put it on your calendar. Pick one business goal. Not 10, not your whole list, just one. The thing that keeps popping up in the back of your mind, the thing you're procrastinating on, the thing you're even dreading. Make that your first goal, because you will find success in this process And let me tell you what I tell my clients all the time, success breeds success.  So maybe it's launching a new service, maybe it's cleaning up your backend systems, maybe it's just finally getting consistent with your content. Whatever it is, write down one goal And then I want you to jump into number two on my list here. List five tasks to delegate. So start by listing five tasks that are connected to that goal, and this is where you make it real. If your goal is to launch a course, your tasks might be Outline content Write a welcome email, create a sales page, things like that So Go ahead and just write five down. Try to keep it to five. It's okay if it's a little over Or a little less. But don't get into a list of 20 Things to do. We want about five And then number three, I want you to create a do, delegate or delay board.  

11:11 Just grab a sticky note, a whiteboard, a Google Doc, whatever works for you. I love to use sticky notes when I'm doing this So I take the tasks, the five tasks that I wrote down, and then I'm going to put them in piles of do.    Delegate, delay Sort those five tasks into what you're going to do yourself, what you could delegate, and what can wait. This little exercise might take you 15, 20 minutes, but it creates massive momentum because now you're not just hoping to find time.
