Whatever it is, flaunt it. Here's a quick exercise you can do to identify your unique X-Factor.

We are the masterpiece in the frame, and sometimes it's helpful to get an assessment of our brilliance from someone else's perspective. Highlight these in your headline, summary, and experience sections. Sections. Paint a picture that's unique to you. LinkedIn data shows that profiles with detailed descriptions receive up to 29 times more profile views, so don't skimp on those details.

For example, instead of saying project manager, you could say project manager with a knack for turning chaos into well oiled machines. During my project management heydays, I was the project manager that turned around at risk projects for Fortune 500 companies. Next, let's dive into the magic of AI. I must admit, I love the power of AI, and I make it part of all my coaching programs, teaching clients how to harness the power of AI to create tailored content quickly. My friends, artificial intelligence isn't just for sci fi movies or tech giants. These days, AI should be your new business bestie. It's a powerful tool right at your fingertips.

The trick, however, is to have your personal assistant, which is your AI, to create tailored high quality content quickly. And then you bring your unique X-Factor, flair, expertise, and humanness to put on the finishing touches. AI tools like Grammarly, Taplio, and even LinkedIn's own content suggestions can help you craft engaging posts without breaking a sweat. Imagine having a personal assistant who writes compelling posts and even analyzes how well each post performs. And here's something to consider as you add some spice to your content. According to LinkedIn, did you know that posts with images get twice as many comments as text only posts? AI can help you create these engaging visuals in no time. Tools like DALL-E, Lumen5, or Canva, powered by AI, can transform your ideas into captivating posts that resonate with your audience. Each of these tools are part of my AI dream team.

Now here are the steps to jump start your process for using AI for content creation. Choose a topic relevant to your targeted audience. Think of pain points, challenges, goals, and aspirations. Use an AI tool to generate a first draft. Again, think as if you had an assistant and you wanted them to write the first draft. This is how you should envision using AI. Give it the instructions. Next, you've gotta clean and polish the draft by adding your personal touch, such as your brand voice, your experiences, your stories, and your insights.

So for instance, if you're a digital marketing coach and you wanna talk to your targeted audience on why it's essential to build an email list, use AI to draft a post on the latest trends about email marketing and list building, then sprinkle in your own experiences, insights, and opinions into the content. Then push the button. Get it out there. And post consistently because LinkedIn stats show that posting weekly consistently can double your engagement. Now let's talk about engaging authentically with your network. Remember that bustling cocktail party I mentioned? Well, let's go with that. Now at this cocktail party with drink and plate in hand, you wouldn't just shove your business card in someone's face. Right? You'd first work to strike up a conversation, show genuine interest, and find common ground in order to start building a relationship.

Right? At least, I hope that's what you would do.🤔 Remember, LinkedIn is all about building relationships. It's not just a platform. It's a community of professionals seeking to do business with other professionals. When you engage genuinely, you build trust, and trust is the currency of good business. Here are a few practical tips for authentic engagement. 1st, comment on posts with meaningful insights. Don't just say things like great post.

Remember, you are a coach or a consultant with good stuff. Your post should reflect your thought leadership. Next, share your own stories and experiences. Authenticity breeds connection. Let people see what you're about. Because we are in an online world, I love using emojis in my content to give some sparkle, fun, and expression, and I find this is just me. I love emojis. Finally, if you can, send a personalized connection request, an InMail or a direct message that mentions something specific about their profile or a mutual interest.

This strategy can be a real game changer when you get the messaging right. But whatever you do, do not pitch or try to sell something to someone you don't know. Build the relationship first.
