Welcome, dear coaches, to a special Prelude episode of the Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™ podcast. I'm your host. Chareen Goodman, Business Coach and Founder of Crack the Coaching C.O.D.E.™. Today, my friends, we won't just be delving into a mere topic of interest. I'm going to set the stage for an electrifying new podcast series that I'll be kicking off next week. That's right. Next week I'm kicking off a fun and exciting journey to walk you through setting up your very own Black Friday campaign. My new podcast series is entitled Effortless Black Friday Using AI to Simplify and Succeed this Holiday Season. So in today's short episode, I'm going to talk about a few things you can do to prepare for this series and to prepare to leverage Black Friday for your coaching business, which can potentially boost your sales before the end of the year. But before we dig in, remember to hit that subscribe button so you never miss an episode filled with insights to level up your coaching game. Let's start by talking briefly about the importance of Black Friday. Now, for those of you who might not be familiar with Black Friday, it's a significant sales event that occurs annually the day after Thanksgiving. And while Black Friday marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season with massive discounts across various retail sectors, it's not just for retailers like Walmart, Target, or Dell.
Chareen Goodman [00:03:08]:
Nope. Coaches, consultants, and online entrepreneurs can and should take advantage of Black Friday. But what does Black Friday actually mean for you as a coach and your coaching business? The impact of this event is considerable, and it's crucial to recognize the potential opportunities it can bring to your coaching business. For starters, it's a great opportunity for you to acquire new clients or offer a new or exclusive coaching package. Imagine the impact of introducing your coaching services to a broader audience during this time or testing the viability of your new coaching offer. Consider offering Black Friday deals on coaching packages or even some of your digital courses, and use Black Friday as a way to introduce your coaching series to a broader audience.
Chareen Goodman [00:05:05]:
When it comes to Black Friday success, preparation is key. I have experienced all too often coaches, consultants, and online entrepreneurs wanting to work with me to help them do a launch for Black Friday, and truth be told, many of them try to do so at the very last minute. Don't wait until the very last minute to decide and do a Black Friday launch. Crafting a well-conceived Black Friday marketing strategy needs to happen in advance. Taking an advanced preparation approach will not only keep you ahead of your competitors but also ensure a smooth, stress-free launch. Begin planning your Black Friday campaign months ahead to avoid last-minute stress. Consider things like creating a content calendar and schedule for your campaign materials and utilizing AI tools to analyze current market trends and competitors' strategies for better planning.
Chareen Goodman [00:06:41]:
As we prepare to start this series, here are a few things to consider in order to set up a successful Black Friday marketing campaign. Firstly, understand your audience's needs, which is paramount for curating irresistible offers. Secondly, set smart goals for your campaigns to guide your marketing efforts. Make sure they are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound. Lastly, plan your marketing materials and your marketing channels carefully. And what else can you start doing right now? How about conducting surveys or gathering feedback from your current clients to understand their needs? Create a sense of urgency in your Black Friday offers by setting clear expiration dates, and think about utilizing AI-driven analytics to identify the most effective marketing channels for your campaign.
Chareen Goodman [00:08:38]:
Let's talk about a few mistakes you may want to avoid. Some of the most common pitfalls include starting too late, as I mentioned before, neglecting customer needs, and having vague goals. Two, if you've ever done a Black Friday campaign that wasn't successful, learn from the lessons of past years to ensure a fruitful campaign. Do a debrief with yourself and with your team. Other things to help avoid mistakes that you can do is set a strict timeline for your campaign and stick to it. And always put your customer needs at the forefront of your planning. And again, define clear, specific goals to measure the success of your Black Friday campaign. What gets measured gets managed.
Chareen Goodman [00:09:46]:
