About the Author: Thrilled beyond words when Henry Holt embraced my debut picture book, “One Bright Ring,” I couldn’t resist weaving the essence of the title into the story’s early fabric. Brace yourselves for a captivating journey where readers, young and old, delight in unraveling the mysteries that lie ahead! My artistic journey spans diverse roles—from illustrator and typesetter to graphic designer and VP overseeing extensive web design projects at a financial firm. Yet, it’s the enchanting world of children’s books that has always held the key to my heart. Fueling my passion for literature, I embarked on the transformative “Writing for Children and Young Adults MFA Program” at Vermont College. Since my graduation in 2006, I’ve embraced the ever-evolving challenge of refining my craft, ensuring that each story I share is a unique and immersive experience for readers of all ages! In One Bright Ring by Gretchen Géser, a girl sees a man drop the ring he means to use to propose to his girlfriend. The little girl tries to give it back to him, but things keep getting in her way! Follow this brave girl and count the obstacles she overcomes in her adventure to return the ring to its owner. She catches up to him just as he realizes he doesn't have the ring anymore . . . so she drops it in just the right place for him to find it.
