Lindsay Brinkley had begun to dread Christmas. As she liked to tell her out-of-town kids, “It's all months of commercial preparation, and then poof! It's over in one day.” Inspired by some TV interviews with department store Santa's who share that sentiment, she decides to extend the season with weeks of anonymously delivered gifts. Trouble is, the news media becomes obsessed with Santa's secret helper and wants to unmask her. Along her journey, she does rediscover the true spirit of Christmas, especially when she meets the modern-day Santa.

In his spare time, he is a fi ne artist who has exhibited work in Manhattan, Tokyo, Miami, Paris, London, and dozens of other international locales. The father of five, he lives in New York City, and Hastings-on-Hudson.
