Hello, everyone, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Joe. Good morning, everyone. What's our message for today?
Okay, right away, I heard stop, don't do it. When you want to go through it. Oh, gosh. What's that song? It's like… it's from, what, the 80s? Was it 80s or 90s? Yeah. They're like, literally, stop, don't do it. And I'm being brought back to that era. And then… yep. I feel like I want to take a step forward. They're like, stop, don't do it. Oh, this is quite interesting.
Okay. You may encounter some obstacles today that are stopping you from doing something. These obstacles are not… it's not that you designed them. It's not that you asked them to come into play. You didn't ask. There's not something where you were talking to your angels and said, hey, guide me, protect me. Protect me from anything that may harm me. It's not coming from there. I hear outside sources, outside resources—things that you do not understand at this time. But don't get too caught up in the drama of it.
Okay? And then I hear all this weird lady cackling and everybody talking about, oh, did you hear this? Did you see this? They were talking about this the other day, and today is the day. Just kind of stop, don't do it.
Oh, and then they're showing me hitting up… I'm on like the old radio boom boxes where you can put a tape player—a tape cassette—in there. I'm dating us, by the way! Put the tape cassette in there. And then how you had to hit the play button and then you had to hit the stop button. Like that's what I'm getting.
I'm putting the cassette in there; I'm hitting play. And they're like, play the song! Play that song! And then I hear: play that funky music, white boy! So I think we're supposed to listen to some of these older kind of fun songs from like the 80s and early 90s. I hear funky—funky music! Yeah! Funky fun music.
And then they show me the lyrics. There's a lot of messages today in those songs for everyone. You're like: take a moment! Just pick a song! And then you're stop—don't do it! They're just having fun today with this.
But pick a song—just randomly go on YouTube; pull out an old cassette tape if you have one; go on Spotify—wherever—and just find some old 80s or 90s funky music and just play it today or listen to the lyrics! Just stop and listen to that—don't do anything else!
Know… yeah! I think it's a tool! Yeah! I think it's a tool to break up some of the intensity of some of the energies of the world right now—there's just a lot happening—a lot changing—to bring a little more lightness to it.
It's not that things for some aren't very serious or challenging or what… it's not denying that; it's just lighting it up a little bit so it's a little easier—to face or embrace or… yep! Dare I say play with—as Kim is doing with songs!
Yep! And yes—tape and cassette tapes! Yep! It's like there's… there's things that are being… oh! I'm like cassette tape—when you said that they're like ding! And so then I just quickly asked: what about the cassette tape? And then it's about going in the past and how the past looked like an easy time.
The past looked like an easy time but it was not easy. And as we move forward in life, there's always going to be more challenges—and they're saying this very dramatically—and they're like: in reality, it's the more extreme we get to one side; the more extreme you're going to get pulled to the other side.
So if you have a lot of anger and frustration, you're actually going to be hit with a lot more love and acceptance. So they're like: which side do you want to be on? You play that funky music white boy—you’re choosing love!
Wow! Remember… yeah! Yep! Remember how to tune into yourself? Remember the fun? Remember when you were younger and you could just… not care—but care at the same time? Remember those feelings?
Yes! Almost all of us have at least a few memories—even if they’re really vague—where we felt free or really happy or something as a child. Some of us have more than others but—dig and find one!
And I have one that I've flashed to over the years every time someone brings up remembering childhood—I flash right to it—it must have been an extremely happy moment in my childhood because I go right to that moment and it makes me smile!
Yes! Everything around was still tough; everything—there’s still some—the same amount of choices that you had then—you just—it didn’t affect you!
Yep! Yep! Build a little music bubble around yourself today; turn down the intensity of the things that are affecting you—sometimes we have to do that.
Yeah—I think today's a great day to do that.
Thank you, Kim.
Yeah—you’re welcome!
Thanks, Jill!
Thanks everyone!
Yeah!
All right—until next time.
