Hello, everyone. And good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone.
So today started off with a song. It's been a little bit since we had a song pop in, and it is "Be Not Afraid." I was raised Catholic, and they sang this song a lot during church. "Be not afraid. I go before you always." Yep. So wow. Yeah, you guys are strong on this one. A lot of you are in that fear state. You're afraid of some changes. You're afraid that something's not happening fast enough or... I keep hearing all these different types of fears, like just throwing past my brain really, really fast. And then it goes back to that song, "Be Not Afraid." We're not supposed to fear the change. It's going to be hard for... Wow. Oh, God. I just got like dagger thrown at me as I was going to say this. It's going to be hard for some of you to embrace change.
So I'm not asking you to embrace it. When I heard that in my head, I got daggers thrown at me. Wow. So yes, a lot of you definitely are struggling with changes. And there's a lot of changes going on in the world, period. So in your household, you have changes going on in your body; you might have some physical changes going on. You might be going through something physically. You know, you have the government, you have work, you have school—all these changes. Okay? Doesn't matter what it is; it's the fact that you are definitely putting out severe energy today.
So stop and maybe even listen to "Be Not Afraid," that song, if that interests you. Just stop and listen to it. Put it on your phone; find it. And then I heard the word solitude—find some solitude within yourself. Kind of just sit and find maybe a spiritual song that resonates with you because I feel like it's more about a spiritual type song versus a regular song that you might hear on the radio. Yeah, a spiritual-type song of some sort that calms and comforts.
Yeah, yep. So whatever your spiritual beliefs are, listen to some music that is very calm and peaceful. Just sit and breathe with that; let your body flow—flow with that song. Be with it. You need to start trusting yourself a whole lot more. Trust the fear; don't trust what other people are saying around you—just back and listen to yourself.
Yeah, I love that: "Don't trust the fear" is really... we all underestimate this one so many times. It's our breath—take that really deep breath! And if you can't take the deep breath, take smaller breaths; it helps to move the trust back into something that's always with you, that's always loving you and always supporting you—which is your breath.
Because as we spiral into that fear, we're starting to place our trust into it—and that's... even saying that makes me almost want to cry; it's so dizzying; it's overwhelming! You know? It's like just breathe and listen to that song that comforts you—and yeah, all will be okay.
I'm terrible! Thank you, Kim! Thank you, Kim! Yeah! Thank you, Jill! Thank you, everyone! Right? Until tomorrow!
