Hello, everyone. And good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone.
Kim is having technical difficulties with numbers today and phones. Just as I'm about to hit the record button, I hit the wrong buttons and then we got lost. I think we're getting a little guidance. Someone wants a Q and A to happen in here too; we might have to make that happen. Yes.
And that's what... Okay, you guys, no lie. I'm like, "Oh, we're going to have this amazing message coming through." And then this happens. And it brings us to—never pressed on it before—but this recording went into a Q and A session that has now started. I'm like, "Oh my gosh, here's our message!" They're literally throwing it right at us.
Okay, so that's for everybody who's listening: things are going to be thrown at you just like it literally happened to us today. The message had to hit us hard today. Wasn't it yesterday they were talking about messages? Yeah, that was part of yesterday. So it's like we got a theme going on here; we're going to be hit with messages. We were cosmically slapped!
Yeah, yesterday we might have to make a little request for a big request for a little more gentleness. Yep, I'll pay attention, I promise.
Okay, anybody else having this experience with us? How... Okay, let's see what else they have to say with this. Okay. Ask questions. Ask those questions! So how it happened to us today: we got hit in front of us. Now we need to stop and ask those questions. Don't ask why it's happening; ask, "Okay, I hear you, I see you; I'm getting the message." What direction do I need to go next? Guide me, lead me to the next questions or lead me to the answers. Maybe you don't even have a question, but something happened—feel like that's okay! Then just say, "Okay, guide me, lead me, show me."
And I get chills up and down my whole body! They're like... and we will guide you today as long as you ask and then listen to the answers that come around you. You know the key is... the key is that asking! Kim, you had said—you know what—not the why so much. And I had someone years ago in training; she used the phrase "effective questions."
And "Why did this happen to me?" would not be an effective question because that's very past-focused—it already happened—and here you are with it where you would ask: "What is? I hear this; I see it." What is the purpose? What can I do? And how can this serve me? What direction? Anything that's more present and forward is what her phrase "effective questions" meant.
Yes! I get tingles all down my body again—exactly! I love it! Give me some more examples!
Yeah, I was going to say give me some more examples of effective questions you would ask today, Kim, after being gently smacked in the face with technology and numbers.
Right! Oh my God! Basically what I do is like: okay, I'm here; I'm present; I'm in the moment—oh, what do you have for me? And I almost get excited feeling as to what you're going to show me! And then I will open up my heart space; I will open up my mind; I open up my energy to receive.
If you're sitting there with your legs crossed and your arms crossed, you're not being in an open state to receive. So when you're taking that deep breath and you just open up your arms—let your legs relax, uncross your legs—and sit there and say: "I am open to receiving! What messages do you have for me?"
And then just take a moment to just say that—do that—and then you could say: "Okay, thank you," and go about your day. The answers will come to you a whole lot quicker and easier for you.
Yes! And then also if you're going through your day and you're feeling like you're not getting clear enough answers or messages—you ask for clearer messages—and you clear your energy more. Those are the effects of like forward present and forward questions—not the "Why did this happen to me?" You know those will just suck into the past and they just get very dense.
And don't they block the messages from coming? The messages are still coming through but it's harder for them to come through when we're past-focused.
Yeah! That's a beautiful process. I love it! What a great message today too—right? What a surprise after a bit of a rough start!
Thank you! Thank you, Kim! Yeah! Thank you, Jill! Thank you everyone!
All right, have a great day! Until next time.
