Hello, lovely listeners, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone.

How do we start? Brain play.

Yes. Oh, my goodness. Playing with our brains or our brains playing with us, maybe.

Yes. I'm talking to Jill about how we believe one thing. We are like, no, no, I know this happened. I know this happened. I was there. And then somebody else is like, no, it did not happen that way. It happened this way. And you swear in your head that it was that way. And then they have proof that they were right. And you're in your head, like, how did I perceive that wrong? Like, I swore that that was right.

Yeah, it's like a jaw-dropping moment. We just like mind blown, like, no way. Even though we're looking at it going, there it is.

Yeah, yeah, it's...

And so we're talking about all these incidences that have kind of happened in the past, but also more recently and how it's like the truth is being revealed a lot faster. I hear the word fallacies are coming through a lot quicker.

So...

But then again, you wonder, okay, what is really truth? What is really true? Is it, oh, okay, now they're going deep. Is it a picture that makes it truthful? Is it a movie? Is it... What is it that really makes it truthful?

If you don't hear directly from that one person who said it or who did it, there can be some...

I hear spillage.

Wow. Spillage.

Yeah. That is deep. But it's a good question to just ask ourselves, like, what is truth?

Yeah. If we didn't hear it directly from that one person that was directly right there.

So you're in the moment, you heard somebody say this, and later on you're around some other people and they're like, oh, it happened this way. It was this way.

And you're like, I was right there.

Oh no, you were wrong.

No, I was right there.

And then you start questioning yourself and your name wrong.

Maybe I heard it wrong.

I don't...

If you didn't come from...

Right from the horse's mouth.

How do you know if it's truthful?

You know...

Oh...

It could be hard to sit with today.

That's... It's something.

It's a question to sit with and it's a question to take inside and to just sit like quietly with it.

Which is, I think for a lot of us, the challenge.

Yeah. Cause we so quickly want to answer the question: truth is this or it's this or I know this and you know... like talk and explain and tell the story and do this and it's like just try and pause all of those things and sit with the question,

and the truth rises to the surface. It just needs the opportunity for some... for some quiet and some calm.

Yeah.

Yeah. It's funny because we're both a little shocked at the depth of this message.

We're like yep.

And I'm in my practical head I'm trying to think of practical things that may come up during the day that I can question,

and nothing really stands out.

It'll be when I'm with somebody that they're going to see something,

that I will be caught in my tracks instead of arguing,

"No! I remember it this way."

I'm going to have to sit like,

"Whoa."

Well who was right and who's wrong?

I don't know.

Let's do some research.

Yeah.

I think it's just a matter of playing in that space and learning to enjoy a little bit of the unknown because who's right and who's wrong?

When you start playing in this area,

you don't really know,

and you may never fully know.

And I think we're very uncomfortable with that when in fact,

I think we're supposed to be very like intrigued by that space,

like what's in this unknown space?

Yep.

Yeah. So try and play with it today if you can.

It's uncomfortable though there's no doubt even as we're talking about...

Both Kim and I are like okay yep,

it's the word uncomfortable

it's exactly what I'm feeling right now

and it's not a fear of the unknown

it's more we...

Our society wants answers now

they want the truth now

and it's like there's this fake push

like give me the truth now

like we demand the truth now

and not that way today

it's more well what do I feel?

What does my belief really tell me?

What does my gut feeling tell me?

Exactly

and that people have gone away from that

Yep

and that process needs some time

it needs some space

and like you said earlier,

it needs that pausing of the thoughts,

the beliefs,

the talking even

it just needs some silence,

some...

yeah time and space

See now that feels calm

There we go

That I can align with

Yes me too

All right well thank you Kim

Thank you

Yeah thank you thank you

All right until next time.
