Hello, lovely listeners, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone.
So today's message is a lot about being proactive. You're trying so hard to be proactive for yourself. You might be doing some really good, healthy things. You might be feeling you're taking initiative on a job. You're trying to, like, maybe, let's go to school. Let's be proactive. Like, I want to learn this. It doesn't matter what it is. I keep getting pulled out and getting pushed forward. I'm getting proactive. I'm gonna be like, yep, that's what I'm gonna do. And you feel like you're getting pushed in the right direction.
Wow. And I feel like, hands on my back of my shoulders right now, pushing me forward. Like, you feel the push. Like, I'm gonna do this. I'm gonna get healthy. I'm gonna do all this. And then you're like, on this journey, you're like, yeah, I'm doing the right thing.
And then something—you feel kind of blindsided in your physical body. Wow. Just started climbing up. You get a reaction. You get a reactive state.
Because I kept hearing proactive, reactive. And then also—yep, no, that's going down my throat.
Yeah, it's... There's a reaction that happens in your physical body. And I'm seeing this in a lot of people. And you're like, but I've been doing the right things. I've been doing this.
And then it's like judgment comes in, frustration comes in, and it's like, well, I don't know what's wrong with me.
And then we're searching for answers all over the place and we're... And you're... You're kind of—I see a brick wall in front of me.
You feel like you're hitting a brick wall and you're not getting answers.
And then you get yourself caught up in looking for the answers.
Yeah.
And I hear lots of laughter in my head and I get—you’re looking in the wrong area.
Oh, yeah, we're looking in the wrong direction for the answers.
So they're like—all of a sudden—I got pulled into my body—they're like, you gotta look inside, look at that spot that's causing you pain and be like,
"Hey, how's it going? What you up to? How you doing?"
We got Joey Tribbiani coming out here.
Exactly.
Who came to mind for me too.
Oh my goodness.
And they're like it's just reacting to the shifts that you're doing.
And so sometimes we have uncomfortable things coming up and we were expecting the uncomfortable to come out from externally and like...
No—they're just coming up from inside.
Just like a shift—like an uncomfortable movement that you're going through.
And we're expecting the emotional piece—we're expecting the outside to somebody come up and say,
"Hey, you're doing the wrong thing."
Or wanting to judge you from the outside.
And here it's—I hear it's nothing on the outside; it's all on the inside of the emotions.
I'm getting really pulled to just say: looking at a pain inside of me—like,
"Wow."
"Wow."
"I'm creating that much pain."
Or I'm...
Oh...
Or how about—could I throw something out there?
Yeah.
I'm looking at that pain in body—how about something to just go,
I don't... I do not know why that hurts so much.
Yep.
And then you can even do it with like...
But—you know—but I'm open—like,
I'm available,
I'm curious,
rather than any of the other things—
No judgment—
No—
Just like,
I don't...
Literally at that stage it's a...
I don't know.
Yep.
Yeah—that creates a sense of just calm—
Like it's being heard—
You're hearing yourself—
You're giving it validation—
Yeah.
And I hear you're not—
A lot of us are not—
Wow—
Yep—
You're right—
And a lot of us are not supposed to know the reason why.
And that's the most frustrating part right now is everybody wants to know why:
Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
They're like,
"You're acting like a little kid."
Yeah—
Because if you say,
"I don't..."
Okay again,
"I'm looking at a pain in my body somewhere and I go:
I do not know why I have this pain."
And you could do something like:
"But I'm open to how."
Open...
Just even stop at that:
I'm open to the how—how...
You don't even have to say how to—you know—cure it—
Calm it—
Heal it—
You don't have to—
That's...
I was like sorting through words and I'm like don't even need any of them:
I'm open to how—not why.
Why at this juncture doesn't matter because it's like why is analyzing the past—so that's analysis paralysis right?
You're just going to analyze it—well that ain't going to get you the results you want anyway—
Yeah...
It's how—how...
But here's the trick key or trick to this—the key to this—is we want to say how to solve it?
How to—you know—we get attached to the...
You just how—how does this unfold?
Just has to be open—you’re not attached to how the how comes to you—
Yep yep
I love when you just said "how to unfold." I literally felt like crumbled up paper just opened right up—it unfolded—and it was there again: calm—it’s peace—it just unfolded naturally—I like that
Yeah
We've gotten really into our minds—like deep deep deep—and when our bodies hurt we're in our minds looking at our bodies
It's weird but it's like body's over there going:
"Oh my gosh—I just need you to be in the body a bit"
And that's... that's what...
I don't know... does...
It gets you out of your head—it gets you out of everything actually because you're literally just in that being space—because you don't know
I don't know
I don't know what this is
Yep
And our society—I love that we have technology to find where things might be majorly off
Okay—I totally appreciate that
So we're not telling people not to go to doctor or not do something but when you sit and say:
I'm open
How?
I'm open to the how
Yeah okay
I'm open to receive
I'm open to let it unfold
Then your body's gonna be calm
Then you'll get more of:
"Oh maybe I need a scan"
Exactly
Maybe I just need take a poop
Right
You know right?
I did me!
Yes!
You get calm knowing:
"Yep—that's it—I need take poop"
Yep
Or "I need get scan"
I was telling or sharing with you recently Kim—a story I saw about lady who had stabbing stomach pains for months—and I was like no no no that's not...
When you sit and go:
"Oh yeah I see you—I see you"
I would throw this out as general guideline: once you've had three incidences—three incidences of intense stomach pains—stabbing stomach pains—like very close every night three nights in row—you really need say: what I need do about this?
You don’t... your body's not just...
When have stabbing stomach pains one night—it may have been ate something bad—but you're three nights into it?
Yeah—it’s time take some action—that's pattern —you know once have solid pattern
So yeah—it’s like don’t want react too quickly if reactions are...
People getting overwhelmed with reactions—they’re taking those extreme—they’re becoming off balance
Yeah so yes love that yes pattern—you’re absolutely correct
Yeah one time is not typically significant where you're like well gotta run doctor gotta run get scan—it’s like oh stop see what does right—but after three five seven days have pattern—you know—and this turned out for person—it was serious medical condition but many many many days before action taken—that's not even proactive or reactive—that’s straight up denial
So gotta be balance midpoint if you will between being proactive and reactive yes—not too much one or other—but playing field between two
See person’s story as posed—and person who put story out—as reflecting now—I’m going “you weren’t even being proactive or reactive—you were sitting with it going ‘it’ll go away’”
Well that might happen but again day five hasn’t gone away—you have stabbing stomach pains—that’s not good sign your body very very very much trying get your attention—but those exceptions—I don’t think most people think extreme no those are people just kind fear hearing truth yes—and that's what “I don’t know” does—is actually collapses fear yep but “I’m open unfolding” “I don’t know but I’m open unfolding” love that love that yawning moving energy yeah there's lot physical stuff particular going on right now for people—a lot of people yeah so be willing say “you don’t know” be willing say “how” be willing go “yep I need do this thing” and know with confidence that’s next step—not reactively—not head cut off running around screaming okay yep this next step and just want say “you got this”
All of sudden can do it can do it—that’s better oh my goodness yes good it is thank you Kim oh thank you thank Jill thank everyone for being here again we appreciate all of you we do thank so much and will talk again very soon
