Hello, lovely listeners, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone.
Topic of the day. What is normal? What is normal? We're hashing out all these things, and it really came down to really, what is normal? Okay. And as I say that I hear it also goes then into what is okay? Because people will think of their normal then is okay to do, but if it's outside of their normal, then it's not okay to do. So then, like. And, you know, I'm sorry, can we. You know, we talked about that yesterday with the family.
Like, what people see in their family becomes their normal, becomes their scale. Right? Even if their family is, like, really dysfunctional, like, but whose kind of is it? But anyway, that becomes, like, the normal. And then that's okay. That's okay to do, because that's normal. And we sometimes miss out on opportunities because we don't want to try something that's not normal. That can actually be really beautiful.
Taking the playfulness. We were talking to you a little bit before coming on the call, too. That seems that the last few weeks have been kind of some heavy energy. Lots of, you know, deep messages. It's in it, which is just fine. It's just like, you hit a point where you're like, I don't want to do that. I'm tired of this. Oh, so much of that. Oh, you know.
Or, you know, it's like, nothing's normal. Why can't I just have normal? Which when you say that, you're just saying, I want it easy. Easy. Exactly. And really, like the medicine, if you will, for that is to bring us a sense of levity of lightness, of playfulness, of openness to choose those things like nothing else has to change.
And at some level, it's the hardest concept seems for us to accept because we think the circumstances have to change for things to change, and it's like they don't. Every circumstance can stay the same. We can bring this more levity, this playfulness, this lightedness, this openness to it.
If you just say this—I just feel like I'm ready to take on some new idea or new concept today—I don't know what it is, but also, you just saying this my mind is like: oh! What actually can I create today? There's a lightness that just went off in my head. So he's like: I'm ready to be open to something new today.
Like: oh! What's a new thing that I could try—lightening up in your head? You kind of turned into a little bit of a robot—your audio did.
Oh sorry! No that's awesome! You were like lighting up so much that the audio even was like: whoa! Gotta love technology sometimes.
Yeah! I too—I just felt things shift where it's just like: all right! Like I've had enough of this—like enough of the oh there's this oh there's that oh there's this—I'll figure this out or do this or try this or just like: okay! You know what? Open! Open to something new right now.
Even not—here's something else I'm getting important to it—it's like not needing to know—not needing to be able to have control over what it is that's coming up.
That's what I was getting from what you were saying Kim—you were just childlike excited to what's going to happen!
Yes! And that's the feeling that I got going through my body—it's running through—it's flushing through—that almost curiosity and I cannot wait—the new possibilities—we got audio stuff going on—can't wait for the new possibilities—we just—we got robot Kim today—we're just gonna roll with this and see if—I think you're driving—we'll see if it comes—George is gonna play with it—I'm still here—I'm still here—see this is the stuff—this is the stuff—this is out of the normal!
Yeah—we just went through an experience—a normal experience—and we could have got very angry—we could have got very judgy and stopped this call and said well we'll have to restart it—it didn't go the way we wanted to—but instead we just were going with it and we're having fun and it is what it is.
Yeah—I really think we need to question normal—yep—in that curious playful—you know lightheartedness about it—and just—you know because normal has really gotten to be kind of a low point in life—I'm just going to say it—like—you know why can't you be normal?
It's like what some of the most interesting people you see and discover and we're kind of fascinated by are nothing normal about them! It's part of why they captivate our curiosity—and so it's like let's captivate our own curiosity—we don't need to have someone else do it—let's do this for ourselves!
Yes—I do too—I don't know about you—but I needed that—I needed that hit of more curious excitement lighted light energy—like again nothing has to change—I just needed to choose that openness—and I hope everyone who's listening does that too because—you know Kim is—
Yep yep—I would have tell you probably a year ago I would have gotten frustrated with the fact of this technology screwing up—instead—it is what it is—
Yeah it's my normal in this moment—and I'm okay with this normal in this moment—
Yeah—the new normal—
Yep—
Oh awesome—all right well let's play with this today and see how that goes—
Can't wait!
Thank you Jill thank you everyone thanks for listening until next time.
