Episode Title: The Universe Doesn’t Care About Your Feelings—Play the Game!
Hosts: Jill & Kim
Key Takeaways
-
Universal Truth Bomb:
The universe isn’t keeping score of your feelings or “goodness.” It doesn’t reward you just because you’re nice or hardworking. -
It’s All a Game (And Supposed to Be Fun):
Life is a game of energy, intention, and commitment. What matters is how you show up and what you dedicate yourself to—not just what you expect in return. -
Manifestation = Commitment + Intention:
You manifest what you commit to. If your focus is on hard work, expect more hard work; if it’s joy or abundance, that’s the experience you'll attract. -
Hard Work vs. Enjoyment:
Many people are dedicated to working hard but not necessarily enjoying their work—or receiving rewards from it. Shift the intention: Value the experience, challenge, and accomplishment rather than just grinding away. -
Living vs. Chasing Dreams:
When dedication turns into drudgery (“off to the salt mines again”), you're chasing dreams instead of living them. Flip your perspective for fulfillment!
Listener Challenge
Are YOU dedicating yourself to joyful experiences? Or stuck in cycles of struggle? Reflect this weekend—and make conscious shifts toward enjoyment and intentional manifestation!

Hello, lovely listeners, and good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone. It's Jill and Kim with One Harmonic Hole.
Today's message is: the universe really does not care about your feelings. It really does not care if you're a good person or if you're a bad person. Like, oh, because I did something great for some person, the universe should just give me something then and back. It's like, nah, no, that's not how that works. Doesn't work that way. You gotta play the game. We're back to the game. And it's supposed to be a fun game. It's not a tricky game. It's a fun game.
Yeah, the game. The game, exactly. Yeah. The manifestation—basically, the energy that you put out there. You decide you're going to do something. The commitment that you put into it is basically what you're going to get back.
We talk a lot about practicing and making things a daily practice and just doing it. The more you do it and the more you put the intention into it, the more you're going to get out of it. That is literally life. That is the game.
Yep. You got to show up. You can have all the expectations in the world that you want of how things should go, and it doesn't matter what you expect as to how it should go. And, oh my goodness, did I learn that lesson. Took me a long time, but I finally learned it.
And that's the thing when you're bumping up against these things where, you know, I feel good. I feel like I'm a good person. I feel like I deserve this. I feel like this should come my way, but it's not coming my way.
Again, like you said, Kim—we just need to accept the rules of the game. It doesn't matter what you feel like should happen. What matters is what have you been committing to?
So here's a perfect one: Someone—I spent a lot of my life thinking about work and people's dedication to work. Okay? And I have a bigger backstory to it that I'll just leave aside, but I've given it a lot of thought.
And what I have really realized, Kim, is that there's a lot of people that I know who are more dedicated to work than anything else—and they're not necessarily dedicated to that work bringing them financial stability or even financial reward.
What they're dedicated to is the hard work. And so 20 years later—I've worked hard; I've given everything; I feel like I deserve—and the universe is like: I don't care! Because what you dedicated yourself to was hard work—and so you manifested lots of hard work.
Yep! We don't work—it's just the way that your intention that you're putting into it was: this is hard work and I'm working hard—instead of: I'm going to a job that gives me some money! Awesome!
Like—and also—yeah—and also: How can I enjoy this job even if I don't really like this job? Because that's what you're dedicating yourself to—the experience.
That's the clearest I could make it to myself—even: What experience are you dedicating yourself to right now? You're dedicating yourself to "I gotta work really hard and hammer shit into place." You're just gonna get a lot more of that.
It doesn't matter what you think should happen; it doesn't matter what you expect or what you feel is deserving—because "I'm a good person; I do this; why doesn't something magically just show up for me?" Because you've been working hard for 20 years? That's not the rules of the game! It's not!
When you were talking about working hard I was like "Oh my gosh! You're calling me out man," because I did that too for a long time—I worked hard man! Like why is this not coming? Why is the money not flowing? I'm putting in all this effort and all this energy into this—and oh my gosh...
And the last year—especially with working with Jill—everyone—like she really helps you dig deep into your soul man—pulls things out—oh I know that—but man—you just made it really known.
So the last probably year or two—even a little bit before that—that's when I actually had to change my ideas—my concepts—and I could say it—I could tell people "Oh you should manifest!" "Oh you have positive thinking!" "You should have great affirmations!"
And it didn't really sink in—and now it's like: "I understand it's not hard work." It's actually—I enjoy the work! If you enjoy the work—well—I mean—that's a big help—but it's more: What is it about it that you're enjoying?
I value that I get to use my brain—like "Oh my gosh!" Like my brain's active—like "I love this!" Yep exactly!
And I've done hard work stuff before—and I love the experience of the hard work because I loved the experience and I loved the accomplishment and the challenge and all the experience of it—so hard work can actually be amazing—but—the experience is that it's amazing.
But when the experience is "this sucks; it's grueling; it's off to the salt lines again" ... yeah yeah yeah ... it's like you're always going to be treat—you’re going to be chasing a dream—you’re not going to be living the dream.
Yep! And so we got to play the game! Yep! We know the rules!
And this is a Friday—this is a Friday for us—so this is going to go all weekend long!
Yep yep—this is going to go forever—but man taking your skill level to another level with this—is happening today—this weekend—it’s probably already happened for people—I hope—I hope listeners are like shaking their head going “I hear this; I get it; it's been happening.” That's my sense—it’s happening for people.
So if it isn’t happening for you—make it happen!
Yes thank you everyone! Yes thank you Kim! Thank you everyone for listening!
Have a great weekend—and until next time!
