  3. Mind + Body = Clarity

    • True insight comes when we balance mental processes with embodied wisdom.
  4. Change Is Good (Even If It Feels Uncomfortable)

    • Endings make space for growth; trusting your gut helps navigate transitions gracefully.
  5. Tools Can Help

    • Practices like pulling cards or mindful reflection support clarity when emotions run high.

Final Thoughts

The journey toward trusting your gut is about embracing both excitement and discomfort as signs pointing inward—not outward drama! When we honor our bodies’ signals alongside thoughtful reflection, we find clearer paths forward and open up space for transformation.

Good morning, lovely listeners. My mouth doesn't work today. Good morning, Kim. Good morning, Jill. Good morning, everyone. Wow, we have a great start today.

Yes, we do. I have a question for you, Kim. Oh, it's an Ask Kim day. Okay. It's an Ask Kim day. How do you trust your gut? Oh, oh. Oh, my goodness. It's funny, when I have my normal brain, okay, when we're talking, prior to this, I have a normal brain, but as soon as you hit play, it's like my spirit guides come out and energies all around come out and they play.

Okay. So right away I seem like you got like a—Sorry, not a gut, a shotgun. And it would like, it's loading up and I heard, how do you trust your gut? Like an old Western. Okay, so, yeah, how do I trust my gut? That's a very, very, very great question.

In the past, I would have said if my stomach hurt, I would have felt I'm not doing the right thing. This sounds weird. Bear with me. But it would have been like, okay, my gut is telling me I'm going the wrong direction because it hurts.

There's a difference in a very subtle difference as like panic, as in anxiety, as in like, I'm not doing the right thing versus the energy of excitement. The energy of like, I'm actually looking forward to this. I'm actually getting pulled in the right direction. My stomach saying like, hey, let's go. Like, woohoo. This is going to be exciting. Nervous exciting, but a good exciting.

Okay. Yeah. There's a very subtle difference and this is the part where we get mixed up in that area.

So Jill knows I—We're talking about a dream that I had and I woke up and I've been having a little bit of gut issues last night and going into a little bit into today. And I got the message as to what it was, but it came through a dream.

And in that dream, I could have—oh my gosh—lost my shit today. I could have went after my husband thinking he was cheating on me and, like, went almost insane with what came through in my dream that was reflecting my stomach issues.

But what I did was like: wow, okay. He—in the dream—just showed me like I was dealing with some trust issues within myself. I wasn't trusting myself; I wasn't hearing myself.

And then once I—when I said that in my head—my stomach calmed down. It had nothing to do with him. Not a single thing. Just the dream had to come out that way. Had to like literally be in my face and stir shit up.

And sometimes that happens around us. If things are getting stirred up tremendously around us—like whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa—and your gut's going crazy and you're like: this doesn't feel right; this is happening—it's like: okay...what am I...? I'm not trusting something.

Okay. That's all it is; nothing bigger than that. I don't have to create drama; I don't have to create any: oh my God this is gonna happen; this is gonna happen now; oh my gosh—and create a story.

It's more like—I just stopped: okay...I'm just not trusting myself; I have a little fear of not being able to trust myself; fearful of that; I'm fearful of my own trust—and then my stomach...my stomach just started to calm right down.

I'm like: oh! That's all it is? Nothing more than that.

Yeah.

I find it very interesting—the question of how do you trust your gut came up Kim—because we did talk yesterday about something when stomach started getting knotted up as we were exploring truth.

And trusting your gut relates to truth because it's...Entrusting ourselves relates to truth because that's how we have our...our own internal guidance system—right—to find our way.

Yeah—we trust ourselves that we are capable of finding or knowing or seeing truth.

And I—the last about 24 hours—like my stomach has been so many times in knots and that's really unusual for me.

Yeah—I don't have—you know—I...like my stomach will knot up a little bit; I'll do my thing; tune in; whatever—but it's almost been nonstop for 24 hours and I was like: there must be a lot of people having this going on right now! It came up yesterday—it keeps popping into my head—I'm having the physical experience...

Like—we need to learn to trust ourselves and trust our guts.

And trusting our gut can mean—you know—some people call that intuition—all sorts of stuff—for right now let's just keep it simple—call: how can I trust my gut?

Yeah—how can I trust that? "I have a gut feeling." Heard that one before? "I have a gut feeling." Yep.

And in the—I think what it does is trusting your gut really makes...What you're tapping into is you're tapping into body and body wisdom and what your body can—which body knows—and how your body can help you.

Yeah—and we're giving the mind a break for a little bit—and we're Call...it's like calling the body onto the stage—

I see that Western again!

Yeah! It's like you're lucky! My goodness! Entertainment!

Yeah—I think it's about getting out of our heads; getting into our bodies; getting into our wisdom...

And one really cool thing that Jill did before when I was talking to her about my little situation: she got it to pull cards—and sometimes when we get into all the emotional aspects of a situation—the emotional gut feeling—and once that ticks up it's hard to get out of the emotional...

So using the cards like you did—it does disconnect from the emotion—and it just puts it into more like a fact—you’re just reading something—it may portray emotions—but it's directing you into something else—to get you out of what you're thinking and what you're conjuring up in your head—

Yeah! Oh it's simple! Okay! There's a death process going on! Okay—that's what it is—that's all it is—that was the card that I pulled!

And it's not very often that I'm any longer inspired to pull cards—I do use them—but it's more of a rare occurrence—and so when Kim was telling me this—sharing with me her experience—and I felt compelled to pull a card—and I pulled this card—and it says "death" on it...

And that—you know—is not a word or something—a lot of people want to hear—it conjures up a lot of fear—a lot of unknown—all sorts of stuff—the card itself (Kim—I sent her the photo)—it's beautiful actually—the art around it is quite beautiful—but it's the symbolism of it...

It's that there's things that are ending—and there's something new that's coming forth...

And I think what's ending is this overdoing (if you will) of the mental activity—the overdoing of "I know this; I know this," which is in my head—and I'm going to think it through and I'm going to figure it out where we're being called to experience it in our gut—to experience it in our bodies—we need to balance out the mind with the body—

Yeah—so that we can—even as I say that—I can feel some calm—that's what it is—is it's the death of the mind being in charge of it all...

And quite honestly—the mind's pretty tired from that too...

And it's this beautiful balance between the mind and the body—mind and the body—and then that balance between mind and body that's going to allow our spirits to just soar—that's going to allow us to be so much—I want to say bigger and better (those are the words that came)—in terms of who we are; what we're experiencing; what our life is; what we're seeing...

It's gonna bring us to better places...

Then—we need to trust that—that—that's the truth!

Exactly—that is literally the truth!

Yep!

Knowing that more better bigger and better things are literally coming for us—that is truth!

Yep!

Things along the path may have to get stirred up for that bigger and better situation to come through—

Yeah—

Trust your gut!

Yep!

All right...I'll deal with my gut later—

Come on now! It's good!

Yes! Well thank you Kim! Thank you Jill! Thank you everyone!

Yes thank you for listening!

Until next time
