For an addict it hurts more to let go of the addiction than just having it one more time… and one more time… and one more time. Because your brain is telling you that it doesn’t feel good when you don’t have it.

Fear sets in and facing it seems more daunting than just staying stuck.

But what is it costing you to stay stuck?

• Fear and doubt are really negative emotions and create a lot of problems. The first step is identifying what it is that you're afraid of.
