Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media podcast, where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Using Video to Promote Your Brand or Business.
[00:00:14] Video is one of the best ways to capture the attention of a busy and distracted social media user. Tools like Scrnli and Lumen5 can help you create no-cost videos that are great for promoting your brand, your services, and beginning to build trust with your audience. Trust is a critical component of long-term growth for brands and products.
[00:00:32] Scrnli is a Chrome extension and allows you to capture still images from your browser as well as record video. This can be used to record short demos and share them online.
[00:00:40] Lumen5 is great for repurposing blog content. This tool can take a link from your blog and generate a video to entice viewers. You can then tweak with text, video, and images of your own if you don't prefer what was generated and you can even add your own voiceovers. Both of these tools are a great way to start incorporating video into your marketing plan when you're on a tight budget or pressed for time.
[00:01:01] Is there a video tool you love for editing? Drop a link in the comments on Facebook and Twitter to share it with the rest of us.
