Episode Summary

Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media Podcast where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Google Business Profiles.

[00:00:13] If you're a small business and you haven't already set up your free Google business profile, you'll want to do that as soon as you finish this episode. You can create your account by visiting Google.com/Business. The biggest value of creating this account is that Google gives you more control over how your business appears in the Google search results.

[00:00:31] Additionally, you can share information to entice prospective customers, add your business hours, contact information, even client reviews, and share special promotional offers. I make a point of adding an update each week when I put out a new blog post. Every update helps strengthen your brand's content richness, making it that much easier for new customers to find you when they're searching with keywords that may only be loosely connected to you.

[00:00:55] Have you used Google business profiles in the past? How do you like the recent management tool updates?

[00:00:59] Join in the conversation on this episode at PodOpsHost.com/Tips and share your thoughts.

[00:01:05] Thanks for listening. Be sure to subscribe at PodOpsHost.com/Tips to keep up with Weekly Marketing tips.
