Leveraging what you know about your customers is the first step in creating personal offers that build brand loyalty and help you achieve your sales goals.

Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media Podcast where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Creating Unique, Limited Time Offers.

[00:00:13] Promotional and special offers are everywhere. With each click of our mouse to every swipe on our phones, data is being collected and analyzed to push promotions at us. If you run a small business, you need to find a way to personalize your offers and make them feel unique to the individual.

[00:00:28] For those people in your database, it starts by understanding what products they purchased from you in the past, what platforms they prefer to engage with you on, and then serving up offers that meet their needs and where they're at.

[00:00:39] When you can make a customer not only feel valued by your company, but appreciated, the brand loyalty begins to grow. When you provide a tailored experience through offers that feel one of a kind. This is where you can turn a happy customer into a brand ambassador.

[00:00:53] All of this starts with understanding your data. Begin with a review of your constituent relationship manager to learn what data points you have for each customer. If you don't have any data outside of an email address or purchase history, think about ways to share a little survey that allows customers to tell you more about themselves. A great way to do this is to include a one-question survey in each of your upcoming marketing emails. People are more likely to give a simple one-click answer than they are to complete a 5 to 10-minute survey.

[00:01:22] What methods have you used to learn about your customers in the past? Share your thoughts on this episode at PodOpsHost.com/Tips and join in the conversation.
