Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media Podcast, where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Outside Point of Views.
[00:00:13] If you have a website for your business, your podcast, or product, you have likely spent endless hours staring at your website. You've invested time creating content, crafting pages, and getting everything just right. Or at least that's your opinion.
[00:00:28] A great way to know if your website is effective at conveying your intended message is to ask a friend or colleague to take 5 minutes and click through the site. Can they answer simple questions such as, "What does your business do?", "What are you selling?", "What is your call to action?"
[00:00:44] 5 minutes is longer than the average user is going to give your site. So getting this type of feedback can be incredibly useful in determining if you need to make changes to your home page or primary landing pages to properly convey the call to action.
[00:00:57] What tools do you use to optimize your website content? Share your favorites in the comments section of this episode at PodOpsHost.com/Tips And join in the conversation.
