[00:00:13] Lead magnets are a great way to build your email list. To effectively implement a lead magnet, you need to offer a visitor to your website a piece of content that is valuable enough that they're going to want to provide their name and email in exchange for that information. For example, if you have a series of Masterclass videos, a DIY document, or a podcast, these could be used to entice a visitor to your website. You can share a taste of the content such as one video or one podcast, or a little bit of the DIY document, and then to gain access to the additional content, the visitor will need to submit a short form, typically their name and email. This will unlock the remaining content.

[00:00:52] Be sure to not give away too much content prior to the form sometimes referred to as a paywall. If you do, you're going to see a very low conversion rate on the number of individuals who are willing to share their information.
