Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media Podcast where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Keeping Your Website Content Updated.
[00:00:13] It's very easy to build your website and then let it sit. As time goes by, you may not realize that a link to an external site is no longer working or that a page has stopped working as you'd expect it to. You want to ensure you're checking your website content at least once per quarter, if not once per month.
[00:00:29] If you have a larger website, you can create a content calendar to schedule when you will check content on a rolling basis. This will break your site into more manageable chunks that feel less daunting. You may find that with each review of your content, you're also enhancing the copy on the page. Finding connections that weren't there before and ways to cross-brand your blogs and podcasts. Content growth and creation never ends. If you put in the effort, it can always get better.
[00:00:54] How often do you update your website content? Let me know in the comments of this episode at PodOpsHost.com/Tips.
