One of the biggest challenges for leaders is the timely nature of conversations that count. Often we miss the opportunity to have a conversation that counts. Today I will provide some tips on how to prepare for conversations that count

Why Don't we have these conversations?

- We may want to do it. It might make us uncomfortable, we may not feel confident, we may not feel competent

- Maybe you attempted a conversation that counts and it went wrong, achieved the wrong result, and may even have got you in trouble

- Maybe the conversation was hijacked by emotions, or by the other party

Maybe you feel "safer" not having the conversation.
