#345 - Being the Technology Enabler - Monday Mentoring

Research around shifts in leadership characteristics and success factors, is fascinating. we are definitely seeing shifts on the area of leadership. Some may be more evident than others.

But the biggest shift in many aspects of leadership has been in the acceleration of technology in our lives and businesses. I will share a link in the show notes to a piece of research done last year, in which one of the key aspects of leadership traits is one of the "technology enabler"

"As technology has become an important part of the organization and its workers, leaders should be competent to enable the workers in their roles using technology"

And currently in the world of business leaders today, we still have leaders that struggle with Zoom, and muting and unmuting themselves on zoom, the inference is clear. Many leaders have not been the technology enabler they need to be for their teams.
