Sustainable weight loss is a goal that many people over the age of 40 strive for, but it can be challenging to achieve without resorting to trendy diets. These diets often promise quick results but are not sustainable in the long term. Instead, focusing on making small, realistic changes to your lifestyle can lead to lasting weight loss.
Another important aspect of sustainable weight loss beyond 40 is managing stress and getting enough sleep. Chronic stress can lead to emotional eating and weight gain, so finding ways to relax and unwind is crucial. Additionally, getting at least seven to eight hours of quality sleep each night can help regulate hormones that control appetite and metabolism.
