In today's podcast, I'll discuss how minor changes can lead to significant impacts. Just yesterday, while helping my son-in-law build a house—his area of expertise—we encountered an issue with the nail gun I was using. Despite my usual ineptitude with tools, which is a running family joke, he insisted I try it. After some struggle and his guidance on releasing the trigger fully between nails, it worked perfectly.

This experience reminded me of James Clear's concept in "Atomic Habits": we don't reach our goals without effective systems—the small daily actions that make success possible. It was just a tiny adjustment for the nail gun to function correctly; similarly, small tweaks in our approach can help us achieve our goals.

We often hesitate to seek feedback due to fear of criticism or self-esteem issues but obtaining advice from those more skilled is invaluable. Nobody has all the answers; life requires continuous improvement and adjustments.

So consider your own life: Are you stuck? Seek out resources and feedback—you might only need a slight change for transformation. Remember that movement and change are constants in life; every interaction matters. Sometimes, all it takes is one little shift for everything to fall into place.

Right now is the most critical time that you will ever have. In fact, It's the only thing you ever have is the present moment. And keep coming back to this concept over and over again. Is I've, watched so many struggles through the years, getting too caught up into the future, worrying about it, devastated because of the past, but the only time we can experience Either of those two things is right in the present moment, which is continually rolling through time. We have the ability to choose for ourselves what we wanna do with our lives.

Notwithstanding what you have been through, how many traumas you've experienced, there is a place inside of you that when you can find it, that nothing is impossible. You can pull yourself out from any anxiety, any depression, There's no there's no magic answer out there. There are many good things, many good theories, but there is no one universal psychological program philosophy theory, that that one can be engaged in, and then everything just completely changes. It's a choice. It's within each one of us.

And I know many many that get stuck in a rut go, don't don't tell me about the choice thing again. Well, there really isn't anything else, but that you have the capacity to make a different choice right now. Yes. We get wired a certain way through experiences. The way that the human brain works that when we go through hard things, we have a tendency to get stuck and frozen, but notwithstanding that reality there is a place inside of us that when we find it, it can supersede even that.

But it's always done in the present moment, and it's done immediately. Now It's like, how many wasted days do must we live? When we're searching for tomorrow, I'll do it tomorrow. I'll do it tomorrow. I'll do it tomorrow.

Life can be lost in tomorrow and in yesterdays. It can be reclaimed right here right now. Whatever issue you are dealing with right now you have the capacity if you just get still, you go deep with inside of yourself. You will find the answer to one small step that you need to take right now to get you moving in a different direction. I believe that every single person on earth has a calling, something that they're to do, that it's and it's constantly trying to get your attention.

Sometimes some of the most difficult experiences we go through in life can be wake up calls. Some of the as I've reflected that on my own life, some of the greatest experiences I've had are from the most difficult hardships. And I've noticed many and many others who have experienced loss of a job, betrayal of a loved one, that it causes them to look deep inside of themselves and make a decision. Okay. What am I gonna do with this?

What can I learn from this? What am I What am I trying to be taught by this experience? And if you choose to have that mindset, that the world is in your favor that things will always work out in the long run, you're stronger than you think you are, obstacles are simply opportunities their wake up calls. And and back to this idea, of you having a particular calling in life. If if you constantly get impressions, promptings to do something, whatever it might be, we all have so many different skills and talents none of us are the same.

Whatever your particular mission is, if you keep getting impressions to do something and you don't do it, It's like that energy will be transferred to someone else who will be willing to do it. I've heard of stories before of individuals have an idea to create a book, a program, or or something else, and they don't do it. It was theirs to do, and all of a sudden they see it popping up. The same exact idea that they had rolling around inside of them. Someone else actually fulfilled it and created it.

It's like there's an energy in the universe that is striving for healing and for good. It's reaching out constantly to each one of us in our particular sphere, our particular, realm of where we have our own relationships, our circle of family, friends, community, there's a work for you to do that only you can do in the way you can do it. But if you choose not to do it, if you choose to remain stuck, frozen, collapsed, then that opportunity will be given to someone else. But having said that, I believe at any time in the process, there is an opportunity to reboot, to wake up, and choose to transform your life. At any day, it's like every single day, this opportunities will present themselves to you.

It may be a very still still small voice. It's almost impossible to hear because you've shut it off. You've allowed you've allowed trauma. You've allowed other people's judgments of you, criticisms of you to shame you, to the point where you have given them so much power in your life that it's crushed you. But at any time, You can wake up and realize that it it's it's like the poet Milton said, the mind in and of itself can make a hell of heaven and a heaven of hell.

Our worlds, we live inside. It's like Jesus said, the kingdom of heaven is within. It's within us. When we are searching for external things to create our happiness. We will always be lacking.

Always be searching for more. It's just the way that we're built. So the the quest is to learn to be happy right here right now. Regardless of what situation we might find ourselves in connecting to our mission could be just an impression of thought and just do one teeny small step in that direction today and keep building upon that. And as you do, more more things will emerge that will help you to to fulfill your calling in life.

What it is you are meant to do. You are every bit as important and valuable as any other person that was ever born. You're chosen to do something. Don't doubt that. And and this idea of becoming famous in the public eye I'd I'd encourage you with all the feelings I have to steer away from that.

That is one of the most challenging difficult things that anyone has to go through. Just live a quiet, peaceful life. Don't strive to be in the limelight. Just do good where you're at. Find one person today.

You can influence and serve. Get outside of yourself. So much misery is when we're constantly just wracking ourselves and in our own get outside and do something for someone else. Just saying hi to somebody. Remember, there is something for you uniquely to do that no one else can do in the way That you can if you will just do it.
