I love a story that was told by Carol Dweck in her book Mindset. Anyway, it's a fantastic book. I'd recommend it. I read it a number of years ago. And, anyway, I come back to it over and over again.

But she talks about the power of just going to work on things. And she tells us a little story. George Danzig was a graduate student in math at Berkeley. One day as usual he rushed in late to do to his math class and quickly copied the 2 homework problems from the blackboard. When he later went to do them he found them very difficult and it took him several days of hard work to crack them open and solve them.

They turned out not to be homework problems at all. They were 2 famous math problems that had never been solved. So think of that. You see, when we when we hear stuff that says, this is gonna be so difficult. You're not gonna be able to do it.

Then we we develop a mindset that it's impossible and maybe it creates a barrier for us. And sometimes if we just go to work, we just put our heads down, go to work, get engaged, fully engaged in whatever we're dealing with, we'd we might be completely surprised at what we're able to accomplish. Anyway, it's just, that's a cool story. Just go to work. Instead of complaining, just go to work.
